GPAT 2023 Application Form, Exam Date, Eligibility Criteria, Exam Pattern

GPAT 2023: Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) is conducted by NTA. It is a national level examination which offers M. Pharm course. The GPAT scores will also provide scholarships and other forms of financial aids to deserving candidates. Candidates can submit the application form of GPAT 2023 from 1st week of November. GPAT 2023 will be held on the online mode for a duration of three hours. More details about GPAT 2023 are given in the following article.

Last date to submit objection regarding answer key 1st week of February 2023
The announcement of the Results 2nd week of February 2023
All India Merit List 2nd week of February 2023

Eligibility Criteria

  • The applying candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • Candidates should have passed a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
  • The degree should be of a minimum of 4 years’ duration after 10+2.
  • There is no age restriction for appearing in GPAT.
  • Passed or appearing candidates in the lateral entry B. Pharma program can also apply online.
  • The final year candidates of B. Pharma are also eligible to apply.

GPAT 2021

Application Fee

General / OBC Candidates Rs. 1400 + Bank charges as applicable
Female / SC / ST / PwD Candidates Rs. 700 + Bank charges as applicable
  • The registration fee can only be paid through online mode (credit/debit card/net banking.
  • For offline payments, the applicants have to generate challan from the official portal.

Exam Pattern

  • The medium of the exam will be English only.
  • The duration of the exam will be 3 hours.
  • There will be 125 questions, related to different subjects.
  • The Questions will be Multiple Choice Type (MCQ) questions.
  • Each question carries a weightage of 4 marks.
  • 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect response.

GPAT 2023 Counselling

  • Candidates will be called for counseling on the basis of the merit list.
  • Details like the roll number of candidates, category, rank, total score, and qualified/non-qualified status will be in the Merit List.
  • Counseling of candidates will be conducted individually by the various NTA-approved institutions.
  • On the basis of scores that candidates have obtained in the entrance examination, the allotment of seats will be done.
