The Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) conducts Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET). It is an entrance exam conducted to give admission to eligible candidates in the various Engineering and Architecture courses at the affiliated colleges. It is a state-level entrance examination which decides the merit of students seeking admissions to the undergraduate courses in the member institutions of the Karnataka Professional Colleges Foundation Trust (KPCF). Eligibility Criteria
For engineering courses (B.Tech/B.E.)
- Candidate should have passed the qualifying examination as 10+2 from the recognized state/central board.
- The candidates belonging to the general category must have passed the qualifying examination with at least 45% aggregate marks in PCM (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates of Karnataka).
- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and English subjects are required in their qualifying examination.
For Architecture Courses:
- Aspirants should have passed 12th or its equivalent examination from the recognized board with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and also 50% mark in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination.
- The candidates should have qualified a recognized aptitude test in Architecture (NATA or equivalent) in 2024.
- There will be no entrance test for admission to architecture courses.
COMEDK UGET 2024: Application Form
Visit the official website of COMEDK i.e. comedk.org and get registered yourself. Fill all the required details in the registration/application form. Log in with system generated user ID and password and fill all the details in the application form. Upload the recent color photograph and signature. Upload the signature of father/guardian and unique Id proof. Proceed to make payment by clicking on the payment gateway mode. Take a print of the filled application form for further use.
Application Fee
- The application fee will be Rs 1600/-.
- Once the application fee is paid, will not be refundable under any circumstances.
- The application fee can be paid online through credit card, debit card or net banking.
Exam Pattern
- The entrance exam will be organized in an online CBT mode.
- The duration of the examination is 3 hours.
- There will be 180 MCQ type questions of Physics/Mathematics/Chemistry/Biology.
- The English section is compulsory for all the candidates.
- Each question contains 1 mark and there is no penalty for wrong answers.

COMEDK UGET 2024 Counselling
COMEDK will organize a centralized single window counselling. The qualified candidates shortlisted in the merit list will be called for the counselling process. The admission will be done on the basis of a marks score in the examination. The counseling-related information will be published on this page within the prescribed time. COMEDK UGET counseling will be done offline. The counseling will be held in two rounds.
