VITEEE Exam Pattern 2017 / Syllabus

VITEEE is a national level examination to offer admission to interested & eligible applicants in engineering courses. The examination will be held April 2017. The applicants are advised to go through the examination pattern thoroughly before they start preparation for the examination. The question paper will be available in English only & the questions will be mostly cover CBSE syllabus only. The appearing applicants can check the examination pattern throughout this article below.

VITEEE Exam Pattern

  • The question paper will have MCQ type questions. The questions will be asked from these 4 subjects- Part I Physics, Part II Chemistry, Part III Mathematics/Biology & Part IV English. The selection of pattern (Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics or Biology) has to be decided during slot booking.
  • The applicants who opt for Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics, they will be eligible for all the B.Tech programs (15) offered at the university.
  • On the other hand, the applicants opted for Physics, Chemistry & Biology will be eligible for B.Tech, Bio-Medical engineering, Biotechnology & Computer Science & Engineering (specialization in Bioinformatics) programs only.
  • All the questions will be of MCQ type.
  • The duration of the examination will be 2 hours & 30 minutes.

VITEEE Marking Scheme

  • There will be 40 questions in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics parts each and for English there will be 5 questions. Each question will carry 1 mark and there will be total 125 questions carrying total 125 marks.
  • There will be no penalty for wrong answers.

Important Point for VITEEE 2017

  • All the appearing applicants will sit in front of the computer & they need to use mouse to submit their answers.
  • The computer will be connected to the server that will deliver encrypted test in real time through a secure & reliable connection.
  • The applicants will be able to navigate freely through the questions back & forth in the examination.
