SBI Clerk 2021: State bank of India conducts a clerk examination in the month of May/June. SBI Clerk application form will be released soon. After that, all the interested and eligible candidates may apply for the SBI Clerk exam. The qualified applicants of SBI Clerk Prelims will be eligible to appear for the SBI Clerk Main examination. SBI Clerk 2021 Application form

SBI Clerk Application Form will be released in the month of April on the official website of  SBI. The interested and eligible applicants can apply for the examination online. The applicants also have to online application fee to complete the application procedure. The application fee of Rs. 600/- for General & OBC applicants (for reserved categories Rs. 100/-) can be paid either through net banking or debit/credit cards.

Eligibility Criteria

  • For Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales), the applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized university or equivalent.
  • The appearing applicants of the final year of their graduation can also apply for SBI Clerk 2021.
  • The applicants must have aged between 20 to 28 years as on 1st April. The relaxation in age will be provided to reserved categories.

SBI Clerk 2021 Selection Process

The selection procedure of SBI Clerk 2021 will be completed in 2 stages. The stages are as follows-

  • Stage I- Preliminary Exam (MCQ type 100 marks)
  • Stage II- Main Exam (MCQ type 200 marks)

Exam Pattern

Preliminary Exam

  • The examination will be conducted in online mode.
  • The question paper will be of MCQ type with total of 100 marks.
  • There will be 3 sections in the examination- English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability.
  • The duration of the examination will be 1 hour.
  • There will be a penalty of 1/4th marks for each incorrect answer.

Main Exam

  • The examination will be conducted in online mode.
  • The question paper will have 190 questions of MCQ type with total of 200 marks.
  • There will be various sections in the examination such as General English, General/Financial Awareness, Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and Computer Aptitude.
  • The duration of the examination will be 2 hours & 30 minutes.
  • The question paper of the main exam will be available both in Hindi & English languages.
  • There will be a penalty of 1/4th marks for each incorrect answer.

For Interview (subject to Govt. of India approval)

  • Candidates will be required to take part in the interview who has qualified the SBI Clerk Pre and Main Exam 2021, but it will be subject to the Government of India’s approval.
  • It will be necessary for the candidates to secure minimum qualifying marks to be eligible to take part in the interview.
  • Candidates will be finally selected for the post of clerk in the State Bank of India, after the commencement of the interview.

SBI Clerk 2021 Cut Off

To shortlist the deserving applicant, a minimum benchmark score will be decided by the SBI which is called cutoff. Applicants who score equal or above the cut off marks in the pre-exam will be applicable to give mains and those who cross the cutoff in main exam will be called for the Interview round.

Result

If you appeared in SBI Clerk exam then you can check your result by following its official admission portal. After clearing the Main exam you’ll be invited to attend the Interview. You’ll be recruited as Clerk in SBI bank, after getting qualified for the Interview.

SBI Clerk 2021: Important Points

  • Candidates will have to pass in each of the objective tests.
  • Qualifying in each of the Tests will be required by securing passing marks, to be decided by the Bank.
  • The questions in objective tests will be bilingual i.e., English & Hindi.
  • For wrong answers, there will be negative 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong answer in the Objective tests.
  • The passing marks will be decided by the Bank to a minimum required level.
  • A minimum percentage marks on aggregate is also required.
