Eligibility Criteria

For ADO

  • Employee Category: Not less than 3 years of service after confirmation in Class III post
  • Agents Category: Not less than 5 years (4 years for Recruitment in Rural Area) as an agent or other than agent (such as DSE/FSE) and has brought a net First Year Premium Income of not less than ₹ 5,00,000/- during the immediately preceding 5 financial years and a net First Year Premium Income of not less than ₹ 1,00,000/- on 50 lives in each of any 3 of these financial years
  • Other: Preference would be given to candidates who have at least 2 years of experience in the life insurance industry.

For AAO

  • Candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • A Bachelor’s/Master’s degree from a recognized university or institute is required.
  • The age of the candidate must not be less than 21 years and must not exceed 30 years.

For Assistant

  • A Bachelor’s/Master’s degree from a recognized university or institute is required.
  • The age of the candidate must not be less than 18 years and must not exceed 30 years.

Application Fee

  • ADO: UR/OBC category candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs. 600/-. For SC/ST/PwD category, the application fee of Rs. 50/-.
  • AAO: Candidates belonging to UR/OBC category have to pay an application fee of Rs. 600/-. For SC/ST/PwD category candidates the application fee will be Rs. 100/-
  • For Assistant: Candidates of UR/OBC category will pay Rs. 510 + GST + Transaction Charges as an application fee. While the candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD category have to pay Rs. 85 + GST + Transaction Charges.

Salary Structure of LIC Exams

ADO

  • The selected candidate will be paid a fixed amount as a stipend of 34,503 per month.

AAO

  • The basic pay of an Assistant Administrative Officer is Rs. 17,240/-
  • The total amount/gross salary of a LIC AAO with HRA, TA, DA ranges to Rs. 32,640/-

LIC Assistant

  • The basic pay of a LIC Assistant (Clerk) is Rs. 14435/- per month in the scale of Rs. 14435-840(1)-15275-915(2)-17105-1030(5)-22255-1195 (2)-24645-1455(3)-29010-1510(2)-32030-1610(5)-40080.
  • The total amount/gross salary of a LIC Assistant with HRA, TA, DA ranges to Rs 30,000/- per month.
