Bikash Bhavan Scholarship 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Students who wish to avail the scholarship should not miss out to check the eligibility criteria first. They have to undergo and satisfy all the criteria, otherwise they can cancel the scholarship anytime.

  • The family income of the applicant should not go over Rs. 2,50,000/- per annum.
  • They should clear Class 11, 12th with at least 60% aggregate marks with affiliation of WBCHSE or WBBSE.
  • For undergraduate students, they must score 60% aggregate marks as required in their degree.
  • For Diploma courses, students have to attain an aggregate of 60 marks from AICTE approved institute and affiliated to WBSCT & VE & SD for availing UG level Scholarship in 2nd year Pharmacy- Lateral Entry/ Engineering/ Technology or affiliated by State Medical Faculty for UG level Scholarship in 2nd year Pharmacy -Lateral Entry).
  • Students need to have obtained 53% marks in aggregate in Graduation (Honours specialization) from any State University for PG Level Scholarship (General Education) /55% marks in Graduate Degree from any AICTE approved/ State University of West Bengal for PG Level Scholarship (Pharmacy/ Engineering/ Technology).
  • Those female candidates who are enrolled in postgraduate in Science, Arts and Commerce branch from Universities of this State should have gained 45% aggregate marks from Institutions of this State. They will be applicable under Bikash Bhavan Scholarship 2023 as Kanyashree(K3) applicants.

Application Process

First of all open the portal of Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Award svmcm.wbhed.gov.in. After this a homepage will appear on the screen. There you will have to click on the option of Registration. It will be redirected to a new web page. Now tick on the declaration Number and hit the Proceed button. A registration form will be displayed where you need to input all the Information that are asked in the form. Click on the Get Register option and login to the page. In a new page, click on the option of Apply For Award. The registration form will open wherein you have to provide the information that are asked in the form. Bikash Bhavan Scholarship 2023 Selection Criteria

Selection of the desired candidates will be done on the basis of the following factors:

  • The total number of applications submitted by the candidate will first be sorted in descending order of scores.
  • The merit list will be prepared according to the availability of the required documents submitted by the applicant.
  • After that, the concerned authority will disbursed the scholarship amount.
  • If any applicant is reckoned of false information then this scholarship amount must be refunded forthwith.
