Eligibility Criteria
UG Courses
- BE (4yr): Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (10+2) scheme with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics conducted by C.G. Board of Secondary Education or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board/University
- BE (3yr): Passed the Diploma course in a related branch of engineering from a recognized Board of Technical Education/University
- D.Pharm: 10+2 in science
- B.Arch: 50% in 10+2 scheme of Senior School Certificate Examination or Equivalent with Mathematics and English as subjects
- B.Pharm: 10+2 examination or any other equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology conducted by the C.G. Board of Secondary Education or any other board or university examination recognized as equivalent by the State Government of Chhattisgarh OR diploma in Pharmacy
PG Courses
- M.Pharm: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
- M.Tech.: Shall have passed B.E./B. Tech. or equivalent examination in appropriate branch with at least 55% or equivalent marks/grades in the aggregate at final year examination.
- MBA: A Graduate degree (at least of three years duration) or post-graduate degree of the University or of any other University recognized to be equivalent thereto by the University with at least 50% of Marks (45 % in case of SC, ST, and OBC candidates) in aggregate in the Faculty of either Engineering, Medical Science, Agriculture, Social Science, Commerce, Arts, Life science, Hotel Management,
- MCA: 10 + 2 Senior Secondary Examination or its equivalent of an approved Board with mathematics as a compulsory subject.
PhD
- A Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade. OR
- An M. Phil. degree through a regular program, who has at least three years of experience of research/teaching with at least three papers published in standard research journals (with ISSN) may be permitted to get registered for the Ph.D. degree, even if he/she does not possess 55% marks at Master’s Level. OR
- A Bachelor of Engineering/Technology/Architecture/Pharmacy Degree with at least 65% marks or equivalent in aggregate and possessing demonstrable research capabilities shall be eligible to seek enrollment for the Degree of Ph.D. under special circumstances.
CSVTU Admission 2023: Application Process
Visit the official website and click on the ‘Academic’ section and search for your application form. Select your desired program and click on the ‘Apply Now’ link. Register yourself and verify your account from your email. Log in to your account with the sent credentials. Complete the application form and upload scanned images of your passport-size photograph and other necessary documents. Pay the prescribed application fee using debit card/ credit card/ net banking
Admission Process
UG courses
- BE Programme: On merit in Chhattisgarh Pre-Engineering Test (CG PET) exam.
- BArch Programme: On the basis of the state rank of Chhattisgarh in the architectural Aptitude Test of AIEEE.
- B.Voc., DVoc, BPharm, DPharm, Diploma in Engineering (Polytechnic), and Part-time Diploma Programme: On the basis of marks obtained in Class 12.
PG courses
- MTech Programme: On the scores obtained in GATE.
- MBA Programme: Based on the scores obtained in the entrance test and personal interview round conducted by the University.
- MCA Programme: Based on the marks scored in graduation
Ph.D course
- On the basis of the entrance test and performance in the interview rounds conducted by the University.
- The qualified candidates of UGC NET/ UGC CSIR NET/ GATE or Teacher fellowship/ MPhil are exempted from the entrance test.
