DU B.Ed. Admission 2020 Application Form Details

The candidates can apply online on the official web portal i.e cie.du.ac.in. Read all the instructions related to DU B.Ed. Admission 2020 and then fill the application form. Candidates will also be required to submit the fee. Then finally they must submit the form online. There will be a single application form to get DU B.Ed. Admission 2020. Candidates can fill the form and may apply for various PG courses offered by DU. Candidates can fill the application form using online mode. There is also an option of offline mode to fill the application form. To fill and access the application form, candidates have to visit the official website of Delhi University. For successful application submission, pay the necessary application fee through an online payment gateway.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The Candidates must possess a Graduation degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for the SC/ST candidates).
  • Candidates in their final year of the qualifying exam are also eligible to apply.
  • Candidates should be 21 years old to apply.

Application Fee

  • The application fees for candidates belonging to OBC category will be Rs 500/- along with application form.
  • The application fees for candidates belonging to reserved category will be Rs. 250/- along with application form.

Selection Process

  • The selection of candidates will be based on the Written Entrance Test.
  • Seats will be allotted on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the entrance test, subject category, depending on the rank, and preference of the colleges.

Exam Pattern

  • Mode of the exam will be Pen and paper mode.
  • The total number of questions will be 400.
  • The time duration of the exam conducted will be 2 hours.
  • Type of questions will be Multiple Choice Type (MCQ)
  • Following section will be there as 3 subjects as Teaching Aptitude/ Reasoning/ General Knowledge, Subject Knowledge at the school level, and Language Proficiency
  • 4 marks for each correct answer will be given and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.

Admit Card

  • The students can easily get their admit card only by visiting the official website.
  • No one will be allowed to taking the exam without their admit card.
  • It is one of the most important documents which holds the information of the student.
  • The candidate won’t get the admit card by an offline mode that is postal.
  • Students are instructed to get the Admit Card by visiting the official web portal only.


Answer Key

  • The answer key of the entrance test will be published on the official website.
  • Visit the official website to check the answer key concerning the question paper.
  • The publication of the answer key will be within 24 hours from the successful completion of the entrance examination.
  • The candidate can register a complaint (within the specified time period) in case of any discrepancy found in the answer key.

Result

  • Access the official website and click on the direct link of results.
  • All students who have appeared in the exam can check the result.
  • Enter the Application Number and Date of Birth (DOB) and also click on submit the link to check the result.
  • Download results for counseling and keep it with you for future reference.

Counseling

  • Based on the student’s performance in the entrance test, the counseling will be held.
  • The merit list will prepare based on the student’s performance in the exam.
  • The merit list has great possibilities to choose their favorite colleges.

Candidates will be required following documents during Counseling

  • High school certificate
  • Mark sheet of all three years of the graduation
  • Provisional certificate
  • The degree of the qualifying exam
  • Required documents to claim for reservation
  • Character certificate of the last attended institution
  • NOC, if the person in is service
  • ID proof
  • Print out of the application form
  • Admit card
  • Two latest photographs
