JEE Main Application Form 2019 Details

  • Mode of applying for JEE Main Application Form 2019 is via online mode only.
  • Application forms will get released in the first week of December 2018.
  • To apply for JEE Main, applicants should have Aadhaar Enrollment Number/ Aadhaar Number/Registration Number which will be provided by facilitation center.
  • Candidates have to fill personal & academic details, and also they need to upload scanned images of photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
  • Candidates must download the acknowledgment page as the evidence of successful submission of JEE Main 2018 application form.

  • Registration
  • Enter details in JEE Main Application Form 2019.
  • Upload images.
  • Pay application fees.
  • Book test slot.
  • Submit the form and download acknowledgment sheet.

Steps to fill JEE Main Application Form 2019

  • Click on the apply online link on this page
  • The candidates will have to register online before accessing the application form of JEE Main.
  • You will fill details such as exam papers applying for, mode of exam, exam center choices, question paper medium, category and other education details as required
  • Now you will upload photograph and signature.
  • Pay the application fees in modes available.
  • If there is the online exam of JEE Main like last year then you will also book test slot.
  • To complete the process of submission of application form, submit the form and download acknowledgment sheet.

  • Mode of payment would be through DR/CR card/E-challan.
  • Candidates making payment through E-challan have to make the payment in Syndicate/ HDFC/ICICI/ Canara Bank in cash.

Exam Pattern

For JEE Main Paper-1 (For admission to B.Tech/ B.E. programmes)

  • Exam Mode: Conducted through offline (PBT) as well as online (CBT) mode. It depend on the candidates preferences.
  • Type of Questions: Objective types.
  • Language: Medium of the question paper will be in English & Hindi.
  • The choice for question paper must be decided while filling up the application form.
  • The duration of the examination will be of 3 hours.
  • +4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong response.

For JEE Main Paper-2 (For admission to B.Arch/B.Planning programme)

  • Exam Mode: Offline (PBT) mode.
  • Type of Questions: Mathematics and Aptitude test section will contain objective type questions and drawing test will be subjective in nature.
  • Language: Medium of the question paper will be in English & Hindi.
  • The choice for question paper must be decided while filling up the application form.
  • The duration of the examination will be of 3 hours.
  • +4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong response.

Eligibility Criteria

Age criteria:

  • Candidate must fall on or after 01 October, 1994 (for general candidates) and 01, October 1989 (for SC, ST and PwD category).
  • Relaxation of 5 years shall be offered in the upper age limit of SC/ST & PWD candidates (i.e. DOB must fall on or after 1st October 1989).

Qualification Criteria:

  • Candidates should be cleared 12th examination/qualifying examination with the core 5 subjects with 75% (for general) and 65%(for SC/ST).
  • Candidates must qualify the intermediate standard with PCM subjects.
  • Those who had passed or appeared in the higher secondary examination in 2018 and 2019 will also eligible to apply.
  • Candidates appearing in the final examination of 12th in 2019 can also fill the application form.
  • Diploma Holders: Diploma holders will be eligible to apply but only eligible for admission to IITs.

Number of Attempts:

  • Applicants can attempt atleast 3 times for clearing the JEE Main.
  • Attempts will be counted from the year 2018 onwards.
  • JEE Advanced will be conducted twice in a year so attempts will be maximum 2 times in consecutive years.

    मैनेँ 12th 2017 मेँ उत्तीर्ण की हैँ, तो क्या मैँ jee main 2019 का Exam दे सकता हूँ ???
