HNBUMU Nursing 2023: The admission process of HNBUMU Nursing is managed by Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Medical Education University (HNBUMU) Dehradun, Uttarakhand. It is a medical university provides quality medical education to students by providing better facilities and faculties. Candidates can take admission in various nursing courses i.e B.Sc. / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing, Pre ANM, and GNM, M.Sc. Nursing. The notification will available at hnbumu.ac.in. HNBUMU Nursing 2023: Important Dates

Applications for B.Sc. Nursing and Post Basic B. Sc. Nursing starts from Last week of May 2023
Exam date of B.Sc. Nursing and Post Basic B. Sc. Nursing 4th week of June 2023
Applications for M.Sc. Nursing starts from Last week of May 2023
Exam date of M.Sc. Nursing 4th week of June 2023
Applications for Pre GNM & ANM starts from Last week of May 2023
Exam date of Pre GNM & ANM 4th week of June 2023

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates should be an Indian National.
  • The minimum age only for the B.Sc course must be 17 years and the maximum must be 35 years.

For B.Sc. Nursing

  • Passed high school and 10+2 or it’s equivalent from ICSE/ISSCE/CBSE/HSCE or any other recognized board situated in Uttarakhand.
  • The candidate must have scored 45% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology along with English as a compulsory/ optional subject with the above qualification. OR
  • Candidates who do not belong to Uttarakhand and bearing above qualification from any other recognized board not situated in Uttarakhand shall not reserve a seat, OR

For Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing

  • Passed both HSC and 10 + 2 or equivalent examinations from an accredited nursing school in Uttarakhand state or from any accredited educational institution located outside the state of Uttarakhand and also have completed GNM course from a recognized institute of Uttarakhand.
  • The candidates outside Uttarakhand shall not be allowed to claim a reserved seat.

For M.Sc. Nursing

  • Passed B.S. Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with minimum 55% average marks from an accredited college/ institute in Uttarakhand State and should be original/ permanent residence of Uttarakhand State or outside Uttarakhand State. OR
  • The nursing institute should have accreditation from the INC / Associated State Nursing Council.
  • The candidates should also have work experience of 01 years after the above qualification.

For ANM Course

  • Passed the 10+2 or its equivalent in Arts stream or health care as vocational stream from any recognized board or from the National Institute of Open Schooling.
  • In the Pre GNM course only 20 seats are reserved for Male candidates.
  • For ANM course, only female candidates are eligible.

For GNM Course

  • Passed 10+2 in science/arts stream along with English and any elective subjects such as health care science with an aggregate of 40% from any of the recognized board i.e. AISSCE/CBSE/ ICSE/SSCE/HSCE/ National Institute of Open Schooling.

HNBUMU Nursing 2023 Application Form

Candidates need to fill out an application form to appear in the entrance exam. Only after successful submission of application form candidates will be able to attend the exam. The application process will take place in online mode only on the official website hnbumu.ac.in. Fill the details in the online form correctly and pay an application fee as given below, which is non-refundable under any circumstances. Candidates need to upload a scanned image of any of the original valid ID proof.

Counseling of HNBUMU Nursing 2023

After the publication of the Merit List, the candidate will be eligible to participate in the Uttarakhand Nursing Counselling. Candidates whose name appears in the merit list can only participate in the counselling. Register for the online counselling and pay the required counselling fee. The registration by qualified candidates, then choice filling, display of state merit list, Seat allotment in college, etc will be the process of the counselling. The selected candidates should appear for the counselling as per the schedule with all the relevant documents in proof of claims.
