JIPMER Nursing 2023: For choosing applicable candidates for the course of nursing, JIPMER conducts Nursing Entrance Exam every year. Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) is the known gateway that gives admission to courses such as B.Sc Nursing, M.Sc Nursing, and Post Basic Diploma. The application form will be started from 21st April 2023. Candidates should apply before the last date of the application. Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate must be of Indian nationality.
• Candidate must have completed 17 years of age as on Dec 31, 2023.
• Those who have completed class 12th from some recognized course with subjects such as Biology (Botany and Zoology), Physics, Chemistry and English as the mandatory subject can apply for the examination.
• It is required to have passed all the subjects and attained at least 50% marks (Reserved category must have attained 40% marks and 45% for those who belong to OPH category) altogether in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

JIPMER Nursing 2023 Application Form

In order to fill the application form, go to the official website as the form is available through the online mode. Candidate can get the application form via post from the JIPMER office. Ensure for filling the application form carefully and upload the documents. One cannot make changes in the course code, after filling the application form submission. Make sure to keep the print out of the application form for further reference.

Application Fee

• The payment of the application form can be done various modes such as credit card, debit card, and internet banking
• OPH students are not allowed to make payment of the application fee.
• After payment of the application form is done, there will be no refund of the payment at all

Exam Pattern

• There will be Multiple Choice type questions in the exam.
• The examination will be held through online mode only and the question paper will be published in English medium only.
• Total of 100 questions will be asked in the exam.
• The examination will be One and a half-hour long.
• 1 mark will be given for each correct response and there is no negative marking scheme in the examination.
• Subjects included in the exam are Physics (20), Logical & Quantitative Reasoning (10), Chemistry (20), Biology (40), English & Comprehension (10)

Admit Card

• Make sure for using the website of JIPMER, for fetching the admit card.
• The availability of the admit card will be in the months like June and July.
• Admit card comprises of details such as roll number, allotted city center, signature, photograph, and lots more.
• There is no provision for sending admit card via post.
• While appearing in the examination, it is crucial to carry the admit card.

JIPMER Nursing 2023 Counselling

JIPMER Nursing Counselling will be started in July 2023. The counseling process is entirely based on the rank that one obtained in the entrance test. Ensure need to report to the college which is allotted for completing the admission related formality, after fetching the seats. On the basis of rank obtained by the candidates in the entrance exam, counseling will be done.
