Eligibility Criteria

Nationality Criteria for Appearing in the Test

  • Candidates should be a resident of India, a subject of Nepal/Bhutan, a Tibetan refugee came to India before 1st January 1962 or PIO category individuals who are migrated from Burma, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Zaire, Malawi, Ethiopia, Zambia, and Vietnam but came to India with the purpose of permanent settling over here, in order to apply for this exam.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degrees from any recognized universities or any other equivalent in any streams required.
  • Proficiency in the local language as prescribed by the participating RRB/s*
  • Desirable: Working knowledge of computers.

How to Apply for IBPS RRB 2021?

  • Aspirants are allowed to apply for both Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and Officer post. They can only apply for one post in the officer’s cadre. Candidates need to apply for each post separately.
  • Application Fee for Officer (Scale I, II & III): 600/- for others and 100/- for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD category
  • The Application fee for Office Assistant (Multipurpose): 600/- for others and 100/- for aspirants belonging to SC/ST/PWD/EXSM category.

  • All candidates are required to score a minimum of 40% marks in order to get qualified for the interview.
  • While SC/ST category needs to obtain a minimum of 35% marks.
