SBI Clerk 2024: State Bank of India conducts a recruitment process for Junior Associates (Customer Sales & Support) Clerk. Becoming a part of the State Bank of India as an employee for any candidate could be a great achievement. The exam will be conducted in the month of August (Tentatively). SBI Clerk application form is available in the month of April. SBI conducts an online examination for the post of clerk in 2 stages- preliminary & main. The qualified applicants of SBI Clerk Prelims will be eligible to appear for the SBI Clerk Main examination.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The minimum and maximum age of candidates should be 20 and 28 years respectively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline required.
  • Final year Graduation candidates are also eligible to apply.
  • Reserved category candidates may avail relaxation in the upper age.

Application Fee

  • The application fee is Rs.750/- for General and OBC.
  • The application fee is Rs.125/- for candidates belonging to SC/ST PWD category candidates.
  • The amount will be payable in online mode only through debit cards, credit cards, and net banking.

SBI PO 2024 Exam Pattern

For Preliminary Exam 

  • SBI Clerk Preliminary Exam will be conducted online.
  • The exam will be based on the question paper having multiple choice questions.
  • The number of questions in the exam will be 100.
  • The Total Marks allotted for the SBI Clerk Preliminary Examination will be 100.
  • Candidates will be given 1 mark for every correct answer.
  • For every incorrect answer, candidates’ 1/4th marks will be deducted.

For Mains Exam 

  • The SBI Clerk main exam will consist of 190 questions.

  • The Total Marks allotted for the SBI Clerk Preliminary Examination will be 200.
  • Candidates will be given 1 mark for every correct answer.
  • For every incorrect answer, candidates’ 1/4th marks will be deducted.

For Interview (subject to Govt. of India approval)

  • Candidates will be required to take part in the interview who has qualified for the SBI Clerk Pre and Main Exam 2024, but it will be subject to Government of India approval.
  • It will be necessary for the candidates to secure minimum qualifying marks to be eligible to take part in the interview.
  • Candidates will be finally selected for the post of clerk in the State Bank of India, after the commencement of the interview.

Result

If you appeared in the SBI Clerk exam then you can check your result by following its official admission portal. After clearing the Main exam you’ll be invited to attend the Interview. You’ll be recruited as Clerk in SBI bank, after getting qualified in the Interview.
