Eligibility Criteria

  • A candidate must be either a citizen of India, Nepal, or a subject of Bhutan and a Tibetan and POI as per the official notification.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or Master’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent in Hindi or English is required to apply.
  • Two years of experience teaching Hindi at the Senior Secondary level under Central or State Governments or recognized educational Institutions is also required.
  • For JHT, the age of the candidates must not exceed 30 years.
  • Age Relaxation is applicable to the reserved category candidates.

  • Candidates should submit the applications on or before the last date is decided.

  • Register by entering personal, academic, and experience details and upload Photograph and Signature, and Left-hand Thumb impression.
  • Submit the above details and log in again to apply for the post.
  • Choose your exam center, select your category
  • Click on ‘I agree’ to confirm your application.
  • Submit the application fee as given below.

Exam Pattern

Paper I

  • Paper I is an M.C.Q-based exam conducted in online mode for 2 hours.
  • Candidates need to secure minimum marks to qualify in the exam.
  • There is a 0.25 negative marking for each wrong answer.

  • The Junior Hindi Translator (JHT) Exam is conducted for filling various Hindi Translator posts across the country by Staff Selection Commission.
