KCET Application Form 2021

KCET Application Form: Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) is a state-level Engineering Entrance Exam conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). By this exam, applicants can get admission in several UG Engineering Engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture, Ayurveda, Homoeopathy courses offered by the state government colleges and institutions of Karnataka. KCET 2021 Application Process will be started from the 4th week of January 2021.

KCET 2021 Eligibility

For Engineering Programs

  • The applicants must have cleared 12th or equivalent examination with Physics Mathematics as mandatory subjects and English as language subjects.
  • The applicants must have scored 45% marks in Physics & Mathematics along with any one of these subjects (Chemistry/ Bio-Technology, Biology, Electronics, Computer) and 40% for reserved categories.
  • The appearing applicants of qualifying examination can also apply for KCET 2021.

For Pharmacy/Science programs

  • The applicants must have cleared 12th or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English as language subjects.
  • The applicants must have scored 50% in PCB group (40% for reserved categories).
  • The appearing applicants of qualifying examination can also apply for KCET 2021.

For BAMS, BUMS, BNYS & BHMS

  • Candidate must have passed 12th Std or an Equivalent with English.
  • Candidate must have a minimum of 50% in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology subjects.

For B.V.Sc. & A.H

  • Candidate must have passed 12th Std or an Equivalent with English.
  • Candidate must have a minimum of 50% in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology subjects.

Application Fee

The application fee for various categories is mentioned below:

General & OBC Rs. 650/-
SC/ST candidates of Karnataka Rs. 500/-
Candidates residing outside of Karnataka Rs. 750/-
Candidates residing outside of India Rs. 5000/-

Steps to fill KCET Application Form 2021

Required Documents and Details:

  • Candidate’s personal and study details
  • Active Mobile Number and Valid Email ID
  • Scanned image of the photograph having dimension 3.5 cm X 4.5 cm (image size should not be more than 40 KB).
  • Scanned copy of signature and left-hand thumb impression with dimension 3.5 cm X 1.5 cm (image size should not be more than 40 KB).
  • All the copies of scanned images must be in .jpg/.jpeg format.

Here, the simple steps for filling the KCET 2021 application form is mentioned:

Step-1: Online Registration

  • Visit the official website of KEA (link will be updated here).
  • Enter your registration details like name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, etc. Also, enter your own user ID and password.
  • Select security question and answer, enter the security code and click on the submit button.

Step-2: Fill Details in the Application Form

  • Log in by entering user ID and password.
  • Fill your personal details like name, mother’s name, father’s name, gender, DOB, Mobile Number, Email ID, etc.
  • Now, enter examination details and complete postal address for future communication.
  • In the study details tab, enter your study details and click on the ‘Save and Next’ button.

Step-3: Uploading of Images

  • Candidates have to upload scanned images of signature, photograph, and left-hand thumb impression.
  • The parent’s signature in running hand and left-hand thumb impression in the prescribed format is also required to upload.
  • After uploading all the images, check the declaration box and click on submit.
  • Note down the application number and take the printout of the application form.
  • Keep at least three printouts of completely filled online application and proof of fee paid for future references.

Step-4: Fee Payment

  • Candidates can submit the application fee through Challan.
  • Download the challan by selecting any one of the prescribed banks.
  • Deposit the fee either in State Bank of Mysore, State Bank of Hyderabad, Indian Bank, Axis Bank, State Bank of India.
  • Candidates living outside India can pay the application fee through demand draft. DD must be in the name of “Executive Director, Karnataka Examinations Authority”, payable at Bangalore.
