MCAER PG CET 2023 Application Form, Exam Date, Eligibility, Pattern

MCAER PG CET 2023: Maharashtra Council of Agriculture Education and Research Post Graduation Common Entrance Test (MCAER PG CET) is conducted by Maharashtra Agricultural University. It is a state-level entrance test conducted for admission to various Post Graduation Programs. The selection of the candidates will be on the basis of 70% weightage to the CET score and 30% to the CGPA of the students in the qualifying examination. Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates who have appeared for the final degree examination are eligible to appear for the MCAER PG CET 2023.
  • A student is eligible to take as many CETs as per his / her eligibility for admission to a PG programme.

MCAER PG CET 2023 Application Form

Maharashtra Agriculture University releases the application form of MCAER PG CET 2023 on the official website. Interested candidates must fill the Application Form to sit in the examination for the same. Submit the Application Fees along with their Application Form as given below. The fee for students belonging to Open Category is Rs. 800/. For students belonging to the Reserved Category, the fee is Rs. 600/. The application fee for students belonging to the Other States is Rs. 800/-.

Exam Pattern

  • The Examination will be conducted for 200 marks.
  • The question booklet will contain 200 questions of objective nature.
  • The candidate has to mark the correct answer in the OMR sheet with black ink ballpoint pen only.
  • Each correct answer will be given one mark.
  • There shall be no negative marking for wrong answers.
  • The Carbon Copy of OMR sheet will be provided at the time of CET Examination.

  • Only for Agriculture: College of Agriculture, Karad/ Badnapur/ Ambejogai/ Sonapur (Gadchiroli)

For other streams

Counseling

The admissions are strictly based upon the marks scored by them in the Common Entrance Test (CET). The conducting body releases the Merit List of the examination after the declaration of Result. Candidates are called for Counselling if their name comes in the Merit List. Candidates must go to the allotted institute with all the required documents on the date of counselling. The conducting body also releases the Rejection List which contains the name of the candidates who are not selected for the counselling round.

MCAER PG CET 2023: Important Points

  • Candidates must apply from the official website of Maharashtra Agricultural University, Pune (mcaer.org).
  • There is no negative marking for MCAER PG CET.
  • Candidates must go to the MCAER PG CET examination center along with their Admit Card and a Government approved ID proof.
