MP PAT 2023: Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) conducts the Madhya Pradesh Pre Agriculture Test (MP PAT) for admissions to the colleges providing B.Sc (Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Forestry) and B.Tech (Agricultural Science) courses. It is a state-level entrance test for candidates to take admission to all the colleges providing agriculture and related courses. Candidates can fill the application form for the entrance exam on the official website. It is required to clear the competitive entrance examination to get admission to the said courses. Eligibility Criteria
B.Sc. (Agriculture)/ B.Sc. (Horticulture)
- Candidates must have qualified class 12th boards or any other equivalent exam from a recognized board.
- They should have passed the above qualifying exam with subjects as Physics, Chemistry and any one of Biology, Forestry, Agriculture or Maths as their subjects.
- The appearing candidates of the qualifying examination shall also be eligible.
B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering)
- Candidates must have qualified class 12th boards or any other equivalent exam from a recognized board.
- They should have passed the above qualifying exam with subjects as Physics, Chemistry, English, and Maths.
- The appearing candidates of the qualifying examination shall also be eligible.
B.Sc. (Forestry)
- Candidates must have qualified class 12th boards or any other equivalent exam from a recognized board.
- They should have passed the above qualifying exam with subjects Physics, Chemistry and any one of Biotechnology, Forestry, Agriculture or Maths as their subjects.
- A physical fitness test shall be done for this course.
- Candidates applying for this exam must have a height of more than 163 cm who are of Gorkha, Garhwali, Nepali, and Kumaoni origin.
- The height of exactly 152.5 cm is required for those who are from the North East, Ladakh, and Bhutan.
MP PAT 2023 Application Form and Fee
Candidates should complete the application form along with the payment before the last date. Editing in the application form is also allowed until the last date. The candidate shall need scanned copies of the Signature of the applicant and the guardian and the passport-sized photograph before they move on to filling the application form. The application form shall be filled in two ways as Online Application Form and MP Online Kiosk. Fill in the correct information in the application form. E-KYC shall also be done for the online mode. Pay the application fee to complete the form else the students shall be treated as invalid. The fee for General candidates would be Rs 500/-. For SC/ST/OBC/PWD the fee would be Rs 250/- The payment can be done through Debit Card, Credit Card and Net Banking for online mode.

- The mode of examination would be Pen and Paper Based (Offline)
- There will be Multiple Choice Question in the exam
- Total Time Allotted would be 3 hours
- The Total Number of Questions would be 200 as given below.
- Marks for Correct Answer would be 1 and the marks for the Wrong Answer would be 0

The exam of MP PAT 2023 would be conducted in the following cities: Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Ujjain, Satna, Sagar.
Counseling
The counselling shall be conducted for the qualified candidates of the exam for various courses in which they desire to take admission. They will be allocated colleges based on the ranks obtained in the conducted examination. Candidates will have to report to the allotted college for various processes some important documents after the counselling.

MP PAT 2023: Important Points
- The Admit Card will be available for only those candidates who shall fill and submit the application form before the last date.
- It shall not be sent by post under any circumstances.
- The Answer Key shall be released after the exam has been conducted successfully.
- The official body shall release a provisional answer key for both the slots and as per the stream.
- The result shall be declared after the final answer key has been released.
- For the counselling purpose, the result shall be released in the form of a merit list.
