MP TET 2024: Application Form, Eligibility Criteria, Exam Pattern

MP TET 2024: For the recruitment of Teachers in the state of Madhya Pradesh, the Government of Madhya Pradesh conducts a state-level exam, commonly known as MP TET. Candidates who want to make their career as a teacher in Madhya Pradesh state must apply through the official website of VYAPAM. Madhya Pradesh TET 2024 will be held for two different categories of applicants, one who is applying for the class 1 to 5 teaching eligibility and others who are applying for 6 to 8 class teaching eligibility. The applicants can appear for both the papers or for the one, as per their choice. Candidate must check their eligibility criteria before applying for the application form. Candidates should be eligible in all aspects, otherwise, the application form will be rejected at any stage.

Eligibility Criteria

For Primary Teacher

  • The applicant must be a citizen of India.
  • The age of the Applicant must be between 18 to 35 years.
  • Candidates of the reserved category will get relaxation in age.
  • Candidate must have passed Intermediate with minimum 50% marks.
  • Candidates who have completed graduation from any recognized university.
  • Candidates who have passed B.Ed. or in the final year of B.Ed.
  • Candidate must have completed or in the final year of D.Ed (Specialization) in an institute recognized by RCI.
  • Candidate must have completed or in the final year of BTC/passed in an institute affiliated to NCTE.

For Upper Primary Teacher

  • The applicant must be a citizen of India.
  • The age of must Applicant is between 18 to 35 years.
  • Candidates of the reserved category will get relaxation in age.
  • Candidate must have passed Intermediate with minimum 50% marks.
  • Candidates who have completed their graduation.
  • The candidate is in the final year of B.Ed in an institute affiliated to NCTE.
  • The candidate is in the final year of L.T. in an institute affiliated to NCTE.
  • The candidate who is in the final year of B.Ed in an institute affiliated to RCI.

MP TET 2024 Application Form

The mode of Application for the MP TET 2024 is Online. Candidate must excess the official website of Authority www.vyapam.nic.in. The candidate must create his/her profile on the portal by using a valid email id. Here, you must provide personal details. In the next step, candidates must provide educational details such as passed examinations and obtained marks. Now, in the next step candidate must upload scanned images of signature, photographs in the given format. The next step asks to fill the category of applicants. Fill in the category from which you belong to. Enter no, if you do not belong to the reserved category. Candidates must check all the details carefully, if satisfied, click on the submit button. Candidates must take the printout of the confirmation page after submitting an application.

Application Fee

  • Candidates must pay the application fee for the successful submission of the application.
  • Candidates can pay applications by any of the online modes such as Credit card, debit card or Net banking.
  • The application fee for General and OBC candidates is Rs.600 for a single paper and Rs.1200 for both papers.
  • The application fee for SC/ST category candidates is Rs.300 for a single paper and Rs.600 for both papers.

Exam Pattern

  • MP TET 2024 will be conducted by two different papers for two batches.
  • Paper 1 will be for those candidates who are applying for class 1 to 5 teacher and
  • Paper 2 will be for those candidates who are applying for the teaching eligibility for Classes 6 to 8.
  • MP TET 2024 exam will be conducted in offline mode.
  • Objective type questions will be asked in the Exam.
  • There is no provision of negative marking.
  • Each question will be of 1 mark.

Admit Card

  • Candidates can download admit cards from the official website of the Authority.
  • Admit cards will be issued to candidates 15 days before the commencement of the examination.
  • Candidates are required to print a copy of the Admit card.
  • Admit card will contain details like Roll number, personnel details of the candidate like name, Father Name, Date of Examination, Timing, and venue of Examination.
  • Admit card is the mandatory document and must be carried on the day of examination.
  • No candidates will be allowed to enter the examination hall without a valid admit card.

MP TET 2024 Result

  • The result of MP TET 2024 will be available on the official website of the Authority.
  • Candidates can expect results after one month of Examination.
  • Candidates can download the result by entering the date of birth and roll number.
  • The candidate must take a printout of the result.

Syllabus

  • Mathematics: Numbers, Arithmetic, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, Shapes and Spatial Understanding.
  • Child Development Pedagogy: Child development, Understanding children with special needs, the concept of Inclusive Education and Learning Pedagogy.
  • Language 1: Comprehension-based question and concept for language development.
  • Language 2(English): Comprehension-based question in English and Development of language.
  • Environmental Studies: Air, Water, Parts of Body, Habitats, Natural Resources, Solar system, Food resources, and Care.
