NHTET 2021: Important Dates

Release the notification for Online Application form last week of January 2021
The end date for the submission of the form 1st week of April 2021
The end date for receiving of confirmation sheet including fee payment and other documents 2nd week of April 2021
Admit card availability 1st week of May 2021
Exam Date 2nd week of May 2021
Declaration of the result 4th week of May 2021

Eligibility Criteria

  • The eligible applicant has a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management/Hospitality Administration along with securing 55% marks & after acquiring the degree they should have 2 years of Industry experience.
  • Form a well-know university applicant who has a Master’s Degree in Hotel Management/ Hospitality Administration along with securing at least 60% marks.
  • The appearing aspirants must clear the previous year and semester’s subjects before applying for this exam.

Through the online mode from the official web portal of the Tourism & Hospitality Institute Management System (THIMS), www.thims.gov.in aspirant may access the NHTET application form. To apply for the entrance exam only eligible candidates are permitted. Before they apply for the entrance, test candidates must read the instructions given in the brochure. The aspirant must follow some simple steps to fill the application form of NHTET. The first interested candidate must visit the official web portal for the registration. To enter details like mobile number, email address, name, father’s name, etc. candidate open the details sections in the application form or they click on the submit button.

Application Fee

  • The application fee will be Rs.800/ for -GEN/OBC category candidates.
  • The candidate pays the Rs.400/- as application fee for PD/SC/ST category candidates.

Exam Pattern

  • The entrance exam will organize by offline mode.
  • In the entrance exam, the total number of Paper is 3 (Paper I, II, and III)
  • Multiple Choice Questions asked in the entrance exam.
  • Aspirants get two marks for each correct response.
  • For every wrong response, Half (½) mark will be deducted or if the questions will not be attempted & for double attempted.
