NMU Admission 2023-24 North Maharashtra University Application Form

NMU Admission 2023: Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari  North Maharashtra University (NMU) will release the application forms for admission to various UG, PG, and Ph.D. programs in various specializations in the campus as well as in the affiliated colleges. NMU was established on August 15, 1990. Application forms for all the courses can be obtained from the official website. Some courses are also offered for industry-sponsored candidates. Eligibility Criteria

UG Courses

  • B.Tech: 50% in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. 45% for SC /ST candidates
  • BCA: 10+2 from a recognized board OR Candidate must have passed 10+2 M.C.V.C. course from Maharashtra State Education Board
  • BBM: Passed 10+2 examination with 45% marks (40% marks for candidates belonging to reserved category) in aggregate
  • BBA/ BMS: 10+2 from a recognized board OR Diploma in Engineering or Pharmacy from Maharashtra Technical Board or its equivalent OR 10+2 from National Open School Delhi OR Candidate must have passed 10+2 M.C.V.C. course from Maharashtra State Education Board
  • B.Sc: 10+2 in any stream with Mathematics as one of the main subjects with 50% marks (45% marks for the reserved categories

PG and Research Courses

  • M.Sc.: B.Sc in the relevant discipline with 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) from a recognized university
  • MA: BA in the relevant discipline or equivalent UG degree with 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) from a recognized university Any Graduate
  • MMS: Any Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
  • M.Ed: B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized university
  • M.Tech: BE/ B.Tech in the relevant discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate
  • MBA: Any Graduate with Mathematics up to 12th or equivalent level with 50% marks
  • MCA: Any graduate with Mathematics as one of the main subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate
  • MCA (Integrated): Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology or Technical Vocational Subject with 45% marks (40% marks for candidates belonging to reserved category) in aggregate
  • MBA (Integrated): Passed 10+2 examination with 45% marks (40% marks for candidates belonging to reserved category) in aggregate
  • M.Phil: Good academic record at graduation and post-graduation level in the relevant field
  • PhD: Master’s degree in the relevant discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate

Admission Process

  • B.Tech: A valid score in MHT CET
  • BCA/ BBM/ BBA/ BMS: Common Entrance Test conducted by the university
  • B.Sc: Spot admissions are offered as per candidates marks in 10+2
  • M.Sc.: CAP rounds on the basis of marks in the relevant UG degree
  • MA: Entrance Test conducted by the university or CAP rounds on the basis of marks in the relevant UG degree
  • MMS: Score in MAH MMS CET conducted by Maharashtra DTE
  • M.Ed: Score in MAH M.Ed CET conducted by Maharashtra DTE
  • M.Tech: GATE score
  • MBA: Score in MAH MBA CET OR CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ GMAT or ATMA
  • MCA: A valid score in MAH MCA CET conducted by DTE
  • M.Phil: Performance evaluation of the last qualifying degrees followed by an interview
  • PhD: Score in PET followed by the performance evaluation of the last qualifying degrees followed by an interview.
