The SCERT (State Council of Educational Research and Training) Punjab, is the main competent authority that is responsible for organizing the PSTSE every year. The exam is basically conducted in the 8th class and 10th class in the government schools of Punjab state to avoid dropouts and for continuous study at the SSC level for the students belonging to economically weaker sections. The main target of this program is to provide financial aid to 500 students. However, to take part in this, candidates have to apply online by filling out the PSTSE 2023 Application form.

Eligibility Requirements
The SCERT Punjab has set the eligibility criteria for appearing in the Punjab Talent Search Examination 2023. Therefore, all the candidates who are willing to take part in the same must read the eligibility requirements before doing the online registration.
- An applicant must have successfully passed class 7th with not less than 55% marks (50% for reserved category students) in order to apply for the Punjab talent search examination for class 8.
- Candidates applying for PSTSE for class 10 need to clear class 9 examination with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks (50% for reserved category students).
- The candidates must be a resident of the state of Punjab.
- He/She should not be availing the benefit of any other scholarship program.

PSTSE 2023 Application Form
- Initially, the candidates need to go to the portal of the conducting authority of Punjab Talent Search Examination i.e. SCERT, Punjab.
- After that, in the notification section, you will find the link for the PSTSE Application form 2023.
- Start filling out all the necessary details like your name, father’s name, school details, academic details, communicational information, mobile number, residential address, etc. in the application form.
- Once you have entered the above-mentioned details in the registration form, the candidates will have to make the application fee payment as asked.
- The registration fee can be submitted and paid through the Net Banking/ Debit/ Credit cards.
- SCERT, Punjab will forthwith reject incomplete application forms so avoid doing the same.
- Do not forget to preview the application form before the final submission.
- Post the submission of the online application form, the candidates must take a print copy of the form for any future purposes.
- There is no need to send the online application form or its print copy to the office.
PSTSE 2023 Result
In order to check and download the result of the Punjab Talent Search Examination, candidates have to visit the official website of SCERT, Punjab as the department will release it online only. It will be accessed in form of a merit list.
- You can check and download the result online from the official website of the conducting authority which is SCERT, Punjab.
- The result will hold some important details of the candidate for instance the name of the candidate, father’s name, aggregate marks, marks scored in SAT and MAT, qualifying status, etc.
- In order to qualify PSTSE, candidates must score above the qualifying marks.
- Those candidates whose names appear in the merit list of PSTSE 2023 shall be allowed to avail of the scholarship award.
PSTSE Scholarship Award
