SSC MTS 2022: Staff Selection Commission conducts the exam every year in order to recruit candidates for the post of Multi Tasking Staff in General Central Service Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post in numerous Central Government Departments / Ministries / Offices, in several States / Union Territories. Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must be a citizen of India or should be a subject of Bhutan or Nepal.
• A Tibetan refugee who came here before 1^st January 1962 with the intention to settle here permanently.
• The candidate must have passed the 10th exam (High school) from a recognized board.
• Candidates pursuing 10th will also be eligible subject to the submission of certificates whenever asked.
• Age must be within 18-25 years as of 01.08.2022. Age relaxation will be applied for reserved categories as per the norms prescribed.
• The date of birth mentioned in the Matriculation (10th) certificate or equivalent exam will be taken into consideration for age count.

SSC MTS 2022 Application Form

Candidates have to fill and submit their application form thru online mode only from the official admission portal of SSC i.e. http://ssconline.nic.in. Applicants will have to fill all the necessary information and personal details in the application form. Candidates will have to upload the scanned photo and signature, after filling all the personal and educational details in the application form.

Application Fee

• Applicants can make payment through Net Banking or Debit/Credit card.
• General male candidates have to pay Rs.100/- only as application fee to complete the application process.
• All female candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH/Ex-servicemen are exempted from paying the application fee.

SSC MTS 2022 Exam Pattern

• Paper-I will consist of objective type questions.
• The question paper will be bilingual i.e. Hindi and English.
• The duration of Paper-I will be of 90 minutes (120 Minutes for candidates eligible for scribes).
• Paper-I will be of 100 marks.
• Paper-II will be a descriptive type of paper.
• The duration of Paper-II will be of 30 minutes.
• Paper-II will be of 50 marks.
• There will be negative marking and 1/4^thmarks for each wrong answer would be deducted.

Paper-II

• The subject will be Letter/Essay writing in English or any of language included in the 8^th schedule of the Constitution.
• This exam will be of 50 Marks.
• The duration will be 30 minutes (40 minutes for the candidates eligible for scribes)

SSC MTS 2022 Admit Card

• The candidate can obtain the same from the official website of the SSC.
• Eligible candidate will be able to get admit card prior to the examination.
• The candidate has to bring the admit card to the examination centre to enter the examination hall.
• Admit card will contain the details regarding exam date and exam centre.

SSC MTS 2022 Answer Key

• The answer key is usually a set of answers which are generally asked in the examination.
• The answer key will be released after the examination on the official website of SSC.

SSC MTS 2022 Result

• SSC will announce the final result probably in the month of July 2020.
• Performance in the written exam will be taken into consideration for making the final merit list.
• There is no interview for SSC MTS recruitment.
• The meritorious candidate will be called for document verification.

SSC MTS 2022 Cut Off

• Commission released the cut-off marks soon after the result.
• Cut out is basically the qualifying mark.
• Those candidates who qualify Paper-1 will be shortlisted for Paper-2.

Syllabus

• General Intelligence: Non-verbal types of questions including similarities & differences, problem-solving, decision making, non -verbal series, space visualization, visual memory, analysis judgment, arithmetical number series, discriminating observation, relationship concepts. This test will judge the candidate’s abilities to deal with the arithmetical computation of abstract ideas and symbols and their relationship and other analytical functions.
• English Language: This section is generally included just to test the candidate’s vocabulary, synonyms, antonyms, sentence structure, grammar & the writing ability, etc.
• Numerical Aptitude: Questions will be based on Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Menstruation, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, computation of whole numbers, number systems, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Use of Tables and Graphs, etc.
• General Awareness: This section is usually designed to see that how much the candidate is aware of the events around him such as questions relating to India and its neighbouring countries, Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic scene, General Polity including Indian Constitution, and Scientific Research etc.
