  • The applicants have to write essay/précis/letter/application etc.
  • The examination will be of total 100 marks & the duration will be of 60 minutes. The duration of the examination will be 80 minutes for VH & Cerebral Palsy applicants.

SSC CGL Exam Syllabus for Tier III

TIER-III is being included from the yr 2016 which is a descriptive paper of 100 marks and is conducted through offline mode. Duration would be 1hr and this Tier-III is basically conducted just to access the writing skills of the applicants which are useful in Government jobs. Paper comprises of-

  1. Writing an essay /passage of around 250 words
  2. Application writing approximately 15o words
