AFCAT Result 2018: Details, Important Dates, Cutoff

The AFCAT 2018 Result indicates the roll numbers of candidates who will be shortlisted to appear for further rounds of selection. Indian Air Force has announced the result of AFCAT 2018, on careerairforce.nic.in. The next round is Air Force Selection Boards (AFSB) and to participate in it the candidates need to book a date. AFCAT Result 2018 Details

The scorecard of all the candidates has also been released along with the result and candidates will have to login with their email ID/username and password. The result of AFCAT 2 is not being issued offline. The result is announced through a pdf which will have the Roll Numbers of qualified candidates and the cutoff will be mentioned. Candidates who clear all rounds of the recruitment process of both AFCAT and EKT will be considered for the Technical Branch and others for Flying and Ground Duty (Non-Technical) branches as per their preference.

Steps to Check AFCAT Result 2018

  • Visit the official website and find the link for AFCAT Result 2018.
  • A new page with the login panel of IAF will be appear.
  • Enter email ID/username and password in the login page
  • Click on submit and the AFCAT Result 2018 will be displayed on the screen
  • Download the Result file and keep it safe for further reference

Interview Process

  • Candidates will be going through a document clearance consisting of AFCAT hall ticket and AFSB interview call letter.
  • Candidates having less than 60% or any backlog will be filtered out.
  • Candidates will go through QIR test and PPDT test which are part of the screening test.
  • Candidates will be getting their results within two hours, after the PPDT (picture perception and description test) is over.
  • Candidates who will clear the screening test will stay back for 5 days AFSB interview.

Cut off

The Cutoff will be announced along with the result. The cutoff will be decided on the basis of the total marks of the exam taking other factors into consideration such as candidates’ performance, number of seats, difficulty level of the exam etc as given below.

  • Induction requirements of IAF,
  • Statistics of reporting and success rate at AFSBs.
