Eligibility Criteria

• Aspiring candidates must possess a degree of a recognized University equivalent to the degree of Bachelor of Science, Arts, Bachelor of Commerce, and Bachelor of any technical subject or their recognized equivalent as on the closing date of the filing of the form.
• The candidates should not be less than 21 years and not more than 40 years (on 1st January of the year of examination.
• For the post of DSP, the candidate age should be between 21 years to 27 years of age on or before 1st Jan of the exam year.

Exam Pattern

Preliminary Examination

• The Preliminary Exam Shall Comprise of two papers of Objective type (multiple choice questions).
• The exam carries a maximum of 200 marks as under.

• Of the Engineering Subjects viz. Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering-not more than one subject.

Personality Test /Interview:

• Candidates who are shortlisted in the Written Examination are required to appear for an Interview.
• The test will comprise of 75 marks.
