Indian Army JCO Recruitment 2023: Indian Army is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment as Religious Teacher as JCO (Junior Commissioned Officer) for RRT 91, 92, 93,94 & 95 courses. Indian Army JCO Recruitment 2023 Dates

The application procedure will start from 1st week of January 2023
End date to apply online 1st week of February 2023
End date for receipt of the application for Civilian applicants 1st week of March 2023
Examination date last week of June 2023

Eligibility Criteria

  • For Civilians and In-service candidates, the minimum age is 25 years and the maximum age is 34 years.
  • The applicants must have qualified Graduation in any stream from a recognized University.
  • The candidates also have to meet the physical standard as specified by the Indian Army.

Physical Standards

  • The height of General candidates should be 160cm. For Gorkha & Kadakhi region candidates, the height must be 157cm. Andaman & Nicobar Island, Lakshadweep Gp incl Minicoys candidates, the height should be 155cm (only locals).
  • The chest should be 77cm for all.
  • The weight of General (except Gorkha & Ladakhi candidates) candidates should be 50kg. For Gorkha & Ladakhi region candidates the weight should be 48kg.
  • The Physical Fitness Test will be conducted to select the eligible candidates for recruitment. The test will include a 1600m run in 8 minutes.

 How to apply for Indian Army JCO Recruitment 2023? 

  • The recruitment of the eligible candidates will be done through all Headquarters Recruiting Zones, Independent Recruiting Office (Delhi Cantt), GRD Kunraghat, Ladakh Scouts Regt Centre (Leh).
  • The Civil candidates can appear for screening & written test only in the Headquarter Recruiting Zone or Independent Recruiting Office (Delhi Cantt) covering their place of domicile.
  • The Service applicants will appear for the recruitment in the Recruitment Zone or Independent Recruitment Office (Delhi Cantt) nearest to their places of posting.
  • The Civil candidates who are applying for Pandit, Granthi, Padri & Maulvi (Sunni) categories, must apply through online mode from the official website joinindianarmy.nic.in.
  • The Civil candidates who are applying for Pandit (Gorkha) category need to submit a written application duly filled to Gorkha Recruitment Depot, Kunraghat only.
  • Civil Muslim (Shia) candidates of the Ladakh region who are applying for the Maulvi (Shia) category need to submit a written application duly filled to Ladakh Scouts Regimental Centre, Leh only.
  • The Civil Buddhist (Mahayana) candidates of other than the Sikkim region who are applying for the Bodh Monk category need to submit a written application duly filled to Ladakh Scouts Regimental Centre, Leh only.
  • Submission of application forms by Service candidates will only be accepted through the official channel.

 Examination Pattern  

  • The written test will have MCQ-type questions i.e. objective-type questions.
  • There will be two papers in the written test.
  • Each question will contain 2 marks.
  • There will be a -0.5 penalty for each wrong answer.

  1. Junior commissioned officer. Not only religious candidate but . what not apply civil candidate . Indian Army hard training in civil candidate as well as excellent religious teacher
