Indian Army TGC Entry 2023: The Indian Army TGC Recruitment process will be started soon. Candidates from an engineering background may apply for the Technical Graduate Course. TGC only unmarried male candidates are invited to apply. The application form for TGC is only available online. The selected candidates will be added to 127th TGC, commencing in Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun. Indian Army TGC Entry 2023: Important Dates

Start of Online Registration	December 2022

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality:

• Candidates should be a citizen of India.
• Candidates from Nepal, Bhutan, Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East Africa, Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania, and Tibetian refugees with the intention to permanently settle in India and must possess the certificate of eligibility, issued by the Government of India may also apply.

Age Limit and Marital Status

• Candidates must be unmarried males.
• Only Matriculation Certificate or equivalent certificate will be accepted as proof of birth.

Age Limit. 20 to 27 years as on 01 Jul 2023. (Candidates born between 02 Jul 1995 and 01 Jul 2002, both dates inclusive). 

Education Qualification:

• Candidates should have done an Engineering degree course.
• The candidates in the final year may also apply.
• Appearing candidates need to produce proof of passing engineering courses by July 01 and also be required to submit the degree certificate within 12 days from the start of training at IMA.

Physical Standard to be Fulfilled:

• The minimum limit for the height is 157.5 cms.
• The height will be relaxed by 5 cms, for candidates belonging to the North East and hilly areas like Gorkhas, Nepalese, Assamese, and Garhwalis.
• The minimum acceptable height can be reduced by 2 cms for the candidates from Lakshadweep.
• The height has to be in correlation with the weight.
• Candidates must be physically healthy and in good shape.

Steps to apply

• Click on the “Register” button.
• Read all the given instructions.
• Click on the “Continue” button.
• Enter Personal Details like the Candidates Name, Date of Birth, Father’s/ Guardian’s Name, Aadhaar Number, Mother’s Name, E-mail Address, and Mobile Number.
• Once, the candidate is registered they will get a Username and Password.
• Login and fill in details in the application form.

Indian Army TGC Entry Selection Process

• The selection centers are allocated in Karnataka, Kapurthala, Allahabad, Bhopal, and Bangalore.
• Candidates are interviewed by the Psychologist, Group Testing Officer, and Interviewing Officer.
• The selected candidates for the interview will be sent a call letter by the selection center to the registered e-mail/mobile number.
• SSB Interview: After being selected at the center candidates have to appear for the SSB interview which is a five-day task.
• The candidates who will clear SSB will be called for the Medical Examination.
• The qualifying candidates for the medical examination will be finally recruited.

Medical Examination

• A candidate recommended by the Services Selection Board will undergo a medical examination.
• It will be taken by the Board of Service Medical officers.
• The proceedings of the Medical Board are confidential and will not be divulged to anyone.
• Only those candidates will be admitted to the academy who are declared fit by the Medical board.
• Candidates declared unfit by the Special Medical Board (SMB) will be intimated by the President of the Medical Board.
