TNPSC 2023: The official notification for the Tamil Nadu Civil Services Exam is published by Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) every year. The exam is conducted to select the eligible candidates for the various posts in the administrative, police, and revenue departments. A bachelor’s level in education from a recognized institute will be the required qualification to take part in the selection process.

Eligibility Criteria

Assistant Director of Industries and Commerce (Technical)

• Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology degree of any discipline except Civil engineering and Architectural Engineering And
• Practical Experience in a factory or workshop for a period of not less than one year.*

Assistant Superintendent (Chemical Wing)

• A Degree in Chemical Engineering (or) Associate Member of Indian Institute of Chemical Engineering. And
• Practical Experience for a period of not less than three years in a Research Institute or Engineering Workshop or Chemical Laboratory

Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must be a citizen of India.
• A graduation or any other equivalent three years’ degree from a recognized institute is required to apply for Tamil Nadu Civil Services Exam 2023.
• The minimum age should be 20 years for the Tamil Nadu Civil Services Exam 2023

TNPSC 2023 Application Form

Candidates need to visit the official website of the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC). Fill in the details in the application form such as the name, address, and other communication details such as phone number and valid email ID. Candidates also need to upload scanned photos & signatures in the application form properly. An application fee will be deposited by the candidates to complete the application form. Take a printout of the application for future use.

TNPSC 2023 Selection Procedure

• Candidates will be selected for the posts through the three-level examination.
• There will be a preliminary examination followed by the main examination.
• Candidates who qualify for the main examination will be called for an interview.

Exam Pattern

Preliminary Examination

• The test will be of an objective type having multiple-choice questions.
• The question paper of General Studies will be of 150 marks.
• The total number of questions in the pre-exam will be 150.

Main Examination

• The exam will be of descriptive (conventional) nature.
• There will be three question papers.

Details of the Personality Test

• Thru the personality test/viva voice, candidates’ aptness is tested.
• The panel of the interviewers will find out the qualities and capabilities thru an oral conversation.

TNPSC 2023 Admit Card

• Candidates will be issued the admit card for the examination.
• It will be necessary for all the candidates to bring the admit card to the examination center.
• Candidates will get a separate admit card for the separation examination.

TNPSC 2023 Result

• Candidates will get the result of the examination separately.
• The result of the examination will be announced thru the official website.
