DSSSB Recruitment 2023: The government of NCT of Delhi manages the process of DSSSB Recruitment 2023. Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board releases the notification for the recruitment to various posts under various Departments of Govt. of NCT of Delhi. Only online applications will be accepted. Applications received through any other mode shall be summarily rejected. Eligibility Criteria

For Group B Post

  • Legal Assistant: Degree in Law from a recognized university. Three years of experience as a Legal Practitioner or one year of experience in Legal Work in a Government Department.
  • Scientific Assistant: Master’s Degree in Science from a recognized university/institution
  • Environmental Engineer: Degree in Engineering in Environment/Civil from a recognized University or Institution. OR 03 years Diploma in Engineering in Environment / Civil from a recognized Board/University or Institution and 03 years experience in pollution control activity/sewerage works is required. 03 years of experience in pollution control activity/sewerage works is required in case of a Diploma.
  • Welfare Officer/ Probation Officer/Prison Welfare Officer: Master’s Degree in social work or Master of Art (Sociology) or Post Graduate Degree in Criminology from a recognized university/Institute.
  • Section Officer (Horticulture): Degree in Agriculture or Degree in Science with Botany as a subject from a recognized University/ Institute. and Two years of experience in the field of ornamental horticulture, landscaping, and gardening.
  • Assistant Engineer (Civil): Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University.
  • Manager (Public Relations): A first-class Master’s Degree in Arts or MBA from a recognized University. and Three years of experience in a responsible supervisory capacity in a Road Transport Organization with a minimum of two years in “Public Relations”
  • Senior Scientific Assistant (Photo): Graduate/ Master’s Degree in relevant stream from a recognized university/ Institution or equivalent. and Two years of experience in the relevant field.

For Group C Post

  • Lower Division Clerk: 12th pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or university. Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on the computer (35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 05 key depressions for each word.)
  • Stenographer Gr.II: 12th pass or equivalent under the 10+2 system from a recognized Board or University. Speed of 80 w.p.m. in shorthand and 40 w.p.m. typewriting in English Or Speed of 80 w.p.m in shorthand and 35 w.p.m. typewriting in Hindi.
  • Lab Asstt.: 12th class pass with science stream from a recognized Board with three years of experience in laboratory works Or, Degree in Science from a recognized university/institution.
  • Store Keeper: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university. OR Diploma in any field from a recognized Institute/ Board/ University with 02 years of relevant experience in a Government / Public Sector Undertaking / Autonomous Bodies.
  • Veterinary Livestock Inspector: 10+2 pass in any stream i.e. Science, Commerce, Arts from a recognized University/ Board. and Two years Diploma in Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Science from a recognized University or Board. and One year of experience in the relevant field.
  • Investigator: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized University/ Board. and One year of Experience in the field in Govt. or Private Organization.
  • Stenographer (English): Matric with a speed of at least 100/40 w.p.m. in English shorthand/computer typewriting.
  • Stenographer (Hindi): Matric with a speed of at least 80/30 w.p.m. in Hindi shorthand/computer typewriting
  • Office Superintendent: Graduate from any recognized University. and 5 years of experience in a Central/ State Government/ UT Govt. Office/ PSU/ State Transport Undertaking in the Pay Matrix Level-4 (Grade Pay Rs. 2400) and above
  • Pharmacist: Matric with a diploma in the trade i.e. Pharmacist with two years experience OR B. Pharma with one year experience OR M. Pharma
  • Legal Assistant: A., L.L.B. with at least one year experience of working with Advocates and enrolled with Bar Council. Should also have Knowledge (read and write) of Hindi and Urdu Language. and At least one year experience of working with Advocates and enrolled with the Bar Council.
  • Junior Telephone Operator: Matric with a certificate in Radio Mechanic.
  • Junior Clerk: Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2) or equivalent with a typing speed of 30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi on the Computer.
  • Draftsman: Matric with Diploma or Certificate in Draftsmanship (Civil).
  • Hindi Translator cum Assistant: Graduate with 3 years experience of a similar job. and Should know Hindi, Urdu, and English. and 3 years experience in a similar job.
  • Labour Welfare Inspector: Graduate in one of the Social Sciences preferably in Sociology.
  • Accountant: Com Degree from any recognized University/ Institute or SAS exams passed as conducted by the appropriate Govt. Nil and 5 years experience in a Central/ State Government/ UT Govt. office/ PSU/ State Transport Undertakings in the Pay Matrix Level-4 (Grade Pay Rs. 2400) and above
  • Assistant (Biology): B.Sc. in Botany/ Zoology from a recognized University.
  • Assistant Grade – I: Secondary from recognized Board or its equivalent and should pass the typewriting in English with a minimum speed of 35 words per minute or in Hindi with a minimum speed of 30 words per minute on the Computer (35 words per minute and 30 words per minute correspond to 10500 KDPH/ 9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depression for each word
  • Store Keeper: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University OR Diploma in any field from a recognized Institute/ Board/ University with Two years of relevant experience in Store Management/ Inventory/ Material Management in a Government/ Public Sector Undertaking/ Autonomous Bodies
  • Driver: Middle School passed in Hindi/English from a recognized Board or equivalent. and Possession of a valid license for driving heavy vehicles with knowledge of motor mechanics. Driving a heavy vehicle for at least five years.
  • Ahlmad: Secondary/ Secondary certificate from a recognized Board/ University or equivalent. and Speed of 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi typewriting
  • Electrical Overseer: Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or College or it’s equivalent
  • Inspecting Officer: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University/ Institution. and Degree in Labour Law/ Personnel Management/ Social Work from any recognized University or Institution. OR Diploma in Labour Law/ Personnel Management/ Social Work from any recognized University/ Institution with two years experience in any responsible capacity in any Central/ State Govt. office.
  • Workshop Instructor: 03 years Diploma from a recognized Institute/Board/University in relevant or an allied subject/field or equivalent. OR Class 10th Pass with Industrial Training Institute/National Trade Certificate/National Apprenticeship Certificate or Equivalent from a recognized Institute/Board/University in the relevant or an allied subject/field with 03 years experience in Government /Public Sector Undertaking.
  • Caretaker: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University. OR Diploma from a recognized Institute/Board/University with Two years of relevant experience from a Government/Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous Bodies.
  • Laboratory Assistant: A Graduate degree in relevant stream from a recognized University
  • Scientific Assistant: Master’s Degree in relevant stream from a recognized University or equivalent.
  • Laboratory Technician: Degree in Science with Chemistry from a recognized University or equivalent. and 02 years experience in Chemical Laboratory in the sampling and analysis of water, sewage, effluent, etc. or in the preparation of reagents cultures sterilization of Laboratory wares, etc.

DSSSB Recruitment 2023: Application Form

The candidates must apply for DSSSB Recruitment 2023 through online at http://dsssbonline.nic.in. No other mode of application shall be accepted. The candidates must read the instructions for applying online carefully. The application fee will be Rs. 100/-. Women candidates and candidates belonging to Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe, P.W.D. & Ex-serviceman category are exempted from paying the application fee. The centers for holding the examination will be in Delhi/NCR only.

  • General Awareness: History, Polity, Constitution, Sports, Art & Culture, Geography, Economics, Everyday Science, Scientific Research, National/International Organizations /Institutions, etc.
  • General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability: Analogies, similarities, differences, space visualization, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship, concepts, arithmetical reasoning, problem-solving, analysis, judgment, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, etc.
  • Arithmetical & Numerical Ability: Number Systems, Simplification, Fractions, L.C.M., H.C.F., Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Average, Profit & Loss, Discount, Decimals, Data Interpretation, Simple & Compound Interest, Mensuration, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Tables & Graphs, etc.
  • Hindi/ English Language & Comprehension: English and Hindi Languages, questions on its Vocabulary, Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms, and its correct usage, etc. would also be covered.
