Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must be Indian nationals.
• The minimum age of the candidate must be 21 years and the maximum age would be 30 years.
• There is relaxation in the upper age limit for reserved category candidates.
• Generalist: A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University is required to apply.
• Rajbhasha: A PG degree in Hindi/Hindi translation with English as one of the subjects in graduation. Or PG degree in English with Hindi or Sanskrit with English with Hindi as one of the subjects in graduation.
• IT: A Graduation degree in Engineering (Specific branch), MCA, or M.Sc. (Computer Science) from a recognized University.
• Chartered Accountant: A Bachelors’s degree and Passed Final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Candidate must be an Associate Member of ICAI.
• Actuarial: A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University and candidates should have passed CT1 and CT5 plus 4 or more other papers of the examination conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of India / Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK.

LIC AAO 2024 Application Form

Candidates can apply by visiting the official LIC website – http://www.licindia.in/. Search for the ‘Careers’ link at the footer and click on the ‘Recruitment of Assistant Administrative Officer’ link. Choose ‘CLICK HERE FOR APPLY ONLINE’ link and Register yourself by clicking the ‘Click here for New Registration’ button. Read the important instructions and enter the basic information for registration. Log-in and complete the application form with all the details such as qualification, parents’ name, address, etc. Upload the scanned images of your photograph and signature and check all the details carefully before final submission. Pay the application fee of ₹600 for General Candidates and ₹100 for reserved category (SC/ST/PwD) candidates online through debit card, credit card, net banking or mobile wallets. • English Language: Passage Correction, Sentence correction, Error detection, Theme detection and Deriving conclusions, Word formation, sentence correction, Antonyms, and Synonyms.
• Logical Reasoning: Number Series, Coding & Decoding, Arrangement Circular Seating, Arrangement Syllogisms, Input-Output Inequalities, Venn Diagrams, and Linear Seating

LIC AAO 2024: Important Points

• The full form of AAO as Assistant Administrative Officer and it is also known as Apprentice Development Officer.
• The candidates with both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees are eligible for this post.
• The minimum age limit is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years.
• The application form will be available on the official website of the LIC.
• The preliminary exam is of 1-hour duration and the Main exam is of 2 hours duration.
• There will be sectional timings in both the papers.
• The appointment will be offered only if the candidate is found to be medically fit.
