SSC CHSL 2024 Notification, Application Form, Exam Dates, Pattern

SSC CHSL 2024: SSC CHSL (Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination) is conducted on the national level by Staff Selection Commission every year to recruit: Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Data Entry Operator (DEO), Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant & Court Clerk, for various government organizations. The examination is held in three stages at various centers allotted by SSC. The essential eligibility required to fill the application form of SSC CHSL 2024, candidates must have passed the senior secondary school examination from any recognized board, and are eligible to apply for the examination.

Eligibility Criteria

  • For LDC/ JSA, PA/ SA, DEO (except DEOs in C&AG): Passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
  • For Data Entry Operator (DEO) in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG): Passed 12th Standard in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.

Age Criteria

  • The applicants must have aged between 18 to 27 years as of 1st August 2024.

Age Relaxation:

For SC/ST age relaxation is 5 years
For OBC age relaxation is 3 years
For PH age relaxation is 10 years
For PH+OBC age relaxation is 13 years
For PH+SC/ST age relaxation is 15 years 
Ex-Servicemen (ESM) 3 years
Candidates having domiciled in JK during the period from 1st
January 1980 to 31st December 1989

Application Fee

  • Candidates will have to make a payment of Rs.100/-.
  • Candidates claiming under Female/SC/ST/PH categories; are not required to make payment of the fee.
  • Candidates can pay the application fee with the use of a debit card, credit card, net banking, or through an SBI bank challan.

SSC CHSL 2024 Application Form

There will be an online submission of the SSC CHSL Application form through the official website of the SSC. Applicants will have to fill in all the necessary information and personal details in the application form. Candidates will have to upload the scanned photo and signature, after filling in all the personal and educational details in the application form. Make the payment of the application fee. Make the final submission of the application form and you are done.

SSC CHSL 2024 Selection Procedure

  • Tier 1: Written exam of objective-type questions of 200 marks.
  • Tier 2: It is a descriptive test of 100 marks and conducted in online mode;
  • Typing Test/Skill Test-For candidates who get qualifying marks in Tier 2 exam. Candidates’ data entry speed should be 8,000 key depressions per hour on the computer. 35 words per min are necessary for English typing, whereas, 30 words per min in the case of Hindi typing.

SSC CHSL Tier-I 

  • There will be 4 sections (General Intelligence, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude & General Awareness) carrying 50 marks for each section.
  • The duration of the examination will be 2 hours.
  • The question paper will be available both in Hindi & English except for English Language.
  • There will be MCQ-type questions and ¼ marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
  • Each section will be of 50 marks.

      Coz then only uh r eligible.
      Why the way u can because the form filling is in april
