AP DSC 2023: For the recruitment of school Assistants(S.A), Physical Education Teachers, language pandits, Secondary Grade Teachers (SGT), in Government, Municipal schools, Zilla parishad, Mandal parisad in the state through District Selection(DSC), Andhra Pradesh state government releases the notification. DSC means District Selection Committee. Depending upon the vacancies available in the schools in AP & Telangana states DSC exam will be conducted once in three to four years. The applications are required from eligible candidates to submit through online at www.apdsc.cgg.gov.in. The government of AP has made some rules regarding Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) or Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for DSC 2023 Posts regarding age limit, education qualification e.t.c. Through AP DSC 2023, selected candidates will get the pay scale as Rs.5200-20200 plus Grade Pay Rs.2600 and these posts are to be filled.

AP DSC 2023: Important Dates

AP DSC 2023 Application Form Details

Applicants should visit the official website for filling AP DSC 2023. Eligible candidate should apply online only and there is no other mode to apply. The form will be filled with applicant details such as name, date of birth, Education and other relevant information. Candidate must know the instructions carefully by visiting the official website, before going to apply. The candidates shall apply online after payment of fee and generation of reference ID. Candidates need to take print out of the online application form. The filled application form should be submitted to the District Educational Officer along with documentary evidences with self attestation.

Eligibility Criteria

Age limit:

  • Applicants must have the age between 18 years to 40 years as on 1st July 2014.
  • For BC/SC/ST candidates, the maximum age limit is 45 years
  • For Physically Challenged the maximum age limit is 50 years.

For SGT Posts:

  • It is required for candidate to possess Intermediate Certificate issued by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh or.
  • Candidate should have possess any other equivalent certificate recognized by Board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of A.P.
  • Candidate also required a two year D.Ed. Certificate issued by the Director of Government Examinations, Andhra Pradesh or its equivalent certificate recognized by NCTE.
  • Candidates who has done D.Ed is eligible for this Posts.

For SA Posts:

  • It is required for candidates TO done three years degree from a recognised university or equivalent qualification.
  • Applicants obtained degree through distance mode is also eligible for these Vacancies.
  • Candidates must have done B.Ed from the recognised university.

Application Fee

  • The applicants have to pay a fee of Rs. 250/- towards application processing and conduct of Recruitment Test (for each post separately) through APONLINE or e-seva centers.

Selection Procedure

  • Selection will be through a Written Test of total marks shall be 180 for SGTs and PETs and 200 marks for or all School Assistant (SA) posts.
  • It will be purely based on merit cum roaster system as per the existing provisions being adopted by Government of Andhra Pradesh.
  • District Selection Committee (DSC) will publish the merit list according to the roaster points system at district collectorate.
  • According to the merit list, for recruit the vacancies as per choices candidate will be called for online counselling.
  • Other criteria stipulated by the Government from time to time.

AP DSC 2023 Admit Card

  • Candidates have to download the admit card through online only in the month of February of the year.
  • The examination authority will not send the admit card by post.
  • For admit card download, candidates need to visit the official website and enter the applicant registration number and date of birth.

AP DSC 2023 Result

  • Candidate has to visit the website after announcement of result.
  • The result will be declared in the month of May 2023.
  • The Result will be announced for all category posts in online only.
  • The examination authority will not send the scorecard individually.
  • The result shows the candidate Name, marks /Score roll number, exam center and other information.
  • Candidate may get the result by enter the hall ticket number on official website.
  • Candidate must take the print of the result for future reference.

AP DSC 2023 Cut off

  • Minimum cut off marks or qualifying should be secured by the candidates, to get teacher job through AP DSC 2023.
  • DSC cut off marks is not same for all the category vacancies.
