Eligibility Criteria

Age:

  • Age of the candidate must not be less than 18 ys and not more than 40 yrs.

For Primary Teachers:

  • Applicants must be a citizen of India.
  • Intermediate /Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks and pass in or pursuing the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
  • Intermediate /Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and pass in or pursuing the final year of 4 tears Bachelor of Elementary Education(B.El.Ed).
  • Intermediate /Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks and pass in or pursuing the final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
  • Relaxation of 5% or such percentage as permitted by the Govt. at the time of admission to teacher education course concerned in minimum qualifying marks at intermediate/Senior secondary level is admissible for SC/ST/Differently abled candidates.
  • NCTE guidelines of August 2010 quote’s candidates who acquired qualification prior to August 2010 are eligible with the above-said qualification/percentage of marks.

For Upper Primary Teachers:

  • B.A. /B.Sc. /B.Com pass or pursuing the final year of a 2-year diploma in elementary education.
  • B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. Pass with at least 45% marks and pass in or pursuing the 1-year bachelor in education.
  • B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. Pass with at least 50% marks and pass in or pursuing 1 year B. Ed Special Education Course.
  • Relaxation of 5% in minimum qualifying marks in Intermediate/Senior Secondary level is admissible for SC/ST /Differently abled candidates’ .also relaxation of 5% or the quantum relaxation in term of government orders given at time of admission into respective teacher education course in minimum qualifying marks at B.A/B.Sc/B.com is admissible for SCX/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates.
  • If the candidates have not secured the requisite amount of percentage of marks in bachelor’s degree but secured post-graduation in relevant school subject she/he will be eligible for applying for paper 2.

Steps to fill AP TET 2019 Application form

  • Visit the official site i.e. on i.e. cgg.gov.in
  • Search for the link ‘AP TET 2019 Application Form’ and open it.
  • Fill all the required details required in the application form.
  • Upload the scanned images and documents in the specified format.
  • Review your form and make the application fee payment.
  • After remitting the fee, click on the submit option.
  • After successful completion, take the print out of the application form.

Selection Procedure

  • Candidates will be scrutinized in two divisions by two papers and they have to clear both papers.
  • For the purpose of teachers taking classes from first standard students to 5th standard students, Paper I will be conducted.
  • For all Upper Primary Level Teaching Candidates, those who desired to teach from the sixth standard to the eighth standard level of students Paper-II will be conducted.

Exam pattern

  • There are basically two papers: Paper-I is at the Primary teacher level (I-V) and Paper-II is at the Upper Primary Level (VI-VIII).
  • The duration of the question paper would be 2 ½ hrs.
  • It constitutes of 150 questions of 150marks.
  • Only Objective type of questions will be asked.

APTET 2019 Admit Card

Admit card is the mandatory document required in the examination. Applicants can download the hall ticket from the official site of APBSE. It contains all the details related to the candidate and examination like name, father’s name, mother’s name, DOB, date& timings of the examination, venue of the examination. The admit card will also have instructions to be followed in the examination. Don’t forget to bring the admit card on the date of the examination. Without the admit card, the examiner will not permit the candidate to appear for the examination.

  • To download the admit card, enter your registration no., DOB, security pin.
  • Admit Card will display on the screen.
