DDU Gorakhpur University Admission 2023: Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University (DDUGU) is a teaching and residential-cum-affiliating University. Eligibility Criteria

UG Courses

• B.Sc: A passed the intermediate examination in the science stream.
• BA: Passed 12th examination in any stream.
• BBA/BBM: Cleared intermediate examination in any stream with a minimum of 40% marks.
• LLB: Intermediate examination passed in any stream with a minimum of 50 % marks.
• B.Ed: Candidate should have passed a UG degree in any stream from a recognized university.

General Eligibility for UG Courses

• The intermediate should be passed by the UP board of school education.
• Candidate appearing in the intermediate examination in the year is also eligible.
• However, such a candidate will have to submit the final result sheet at the time of counselling/admission

PG Courses

• M.Sc: A UG degree examination in the concerned/related science stream from a recognized university /institution.
• MA: Passed concerned /relevant UG degree examination from a recognized university /institution
• MBA/PGDM: A graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university/ institute
• LLM: An LLB degree from a recognized university
• M.Ed: A B.Ed. degree from a recognized university.

Exam Pattern

For UG Courses

• The test will be objective in nature with 150 questions.
• It will be conducted offline.
• The questions will be in both Hindi and English except for the language section.
• 3 marks will be awarded for each correct answer.
• There will be no negative marking.

For PG Courses

• The entrance test is objective in nature with 150 subject-specific questions.
• Questions will be asked from the syllabus of UG degree.
• Each question carries 3 marks.
• There is no negative marking in the exam.

Counselling

• The selected candidates will be required to participate in the counselling process.
• The university will declare the cut-off scores for each subject, after the entrance exam.
• Cut-off score-cleared candidates will be called for counselling.
