GSAUCA 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Diploma in Agriculture/ Agri Engg/ Horticulture/ Nutrition and Dietetics: Aspirants who have qualified Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) examination along with English as a mandatory subject from any statutory Board in the Gujarat State or equivalent examination will be eligible to appear for the admission.
B. Tech in Dairy Science/ Agri Engg/ Food Technology: The aspirants need to pass the 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects (Group-A-PCM) with 40% minimum marks for General & SEBC Category, 35% Marks for SC & ST Category. Besides this, English should be a compulsory subject. The candidate needs to qualify for the entrance test led by the Government of Gujarat.
BSc Hons in Agriculture/ Horticulture: Pass the Higher Secondary School Certificate or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects (Group-B-PCB) with 40% minimum marks for General & SEBC Category, 35% Marks for SC & ST Category. Moreover, English should be a compulsory subject. It is necessary to clear the entrance test led by the Government of Gujarat.
Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry: XII or equivalent exam with PCB & English subjects with 50% minimum marks for General Category whereas 47.50 % for SC, ST & SEBC Category. The admission will only be granted on the basis of the entrance test led by the Government of Gujarat. The age of the appliers should be between 17 to 25 years.
B. Tech in Agriculture Information Technology: 12th pass with PCM, PCB or PCMB and English as a compulsory subject. Necessarily pass the entrance test conducted by Gujarat State.
M. Tech in Agriculture Engineering: Individuals should have earned a Bachelor’s degree with an OGPA of not less than 6.00 on a scale of 10 in aggregate or its equivalent and in the field of studies in which admission is desired. SC, ST, and SEBC class candidates must acquire OGPA of not less than 5.50 on a scale of 10 in aggregate or its equivalent.
M.F.Sc.: A degree of B.F.Sc. with 6.0 OGP is required in order to be eligible. The admission to this degree program is granted through a common entrance test led by the Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh.
M.Sc. (Agri.) / M.Sc. (Horti.): A candidate must possess a bachelor level degree with an OGPA of not less than 6.00 on a scale of 10 or its equivalent in aggregate. SC, ST, and SEBC class candidates must attain OGPA of not less than 5.50 on a scale of 10 or its equivalent.
B.F.Sc.: It is vital for the applying candidates to pass 10+2 system with a minimum aggregate score of 55%. They should have studied and scored 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the main subjects.
