The merit list will be available in the University Notice Board and on the official website of the university. The starting of the counselling will be as per the schedule in the H.P. University Auditorium, Shimla-171005. Candidates will attend the counselling category-wise as the University notifies them. No candidates will get separate call letters by post for attending the counselling. The Himachal Pradesh University will issue the call letter for the counselling on their official website. Candidates should download the call letter before appearing for counselling.
Documents required during Counselling
- Matriculation or its equivalent examination certificate.
- Certificate of 10+2 or its equivalent examination along with details of marks in each subject.
- Print out the online application form.
- Admit Card issued by the H.P. University for Entrance Test.
- A certificate of Bonafide Himachali issued by the competent authority.
- A certificate of H.P. Govt. Employees/Employees of Autonomous Bodies wholly or partially financed by the H.P.Govt.
- Reserved/sub-reserved category certificates issued by the competent authority.
- Character Certificate from the Principal of the School/Institution last attended.
- A Bank Draft/IPO of Rs. 100/- drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, H.P. University, Shimla on account of Counselling fee.

- All original certificates are necessary for verification at the time of counselling.
- The selected candidates should deposit Rs. 10,000/- at the time of counselling else the candidature of the will be cancelled automatically.
- The authority will adjust this fee in the Annual Fee later on.
- An incomplete form will lead to rejection.
- Admission- cum- Counselling Form and documents/certificates attached will not be returned in any case.
- The documents regarding the Anti-Ragging measure will be necessary along with the affidavit.
