Selection procedure for IBPS Specialist Officer | IBPS SO Selection Procedure

There will be two rounds in IBPS SO 2015 examination- first a Common Written Examination (CWE) and second Personal Interview. The examination will be held in online mode. IBPS SO 2015 is scheduled to be held in the month of February at numerous centers in India. The selection process of IBPS SO 2015 has been briefed below:

IBPS SO Selection Procedure

  • First of all the candidates have to appear in CWE which will be a paper of 200 MCQ type questions. The duration of the examination will be 2 hours and the total marks will be 200. CWE contains four sections as Reasoning, English Language, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and a section of Professional Knowledge (relating to marketing, It, Computer etc).
  • The second step of the selection process is the verification of documents. Appeared candidates have to submit required documents for verification by the IBPS officials. If any candidate fails to submit genuine documents then he/she will be disqualified.
  • The next step will be a personal interview round. The candidates will be evaluated on the basis of communication skills, personality dimensions, general awareness etc.
  • The candidates who will qualify both the rounds of CWE and personal interview will be recruited in one of the participating banking institute. The candidates’ recruitment in the participating institutions will depend on the number of vacancies available and if they meet the requirements of the firms.

IBPS SO Exam Eligibility Criteria

Required documents for IBPS SO Selection Procedure

  1. A print out of the online registration form.
  2. Birth certificate (for birth proof).
  3. Certificate of caste for reserved candidates, issued by a competent authority.
  4. Certificate of experience (if any).
  5. The original copy of admit card and a photocopy of the same.
  6. Pass certificate of class 10th and 12th.
  7. Photo identity proof.
  8. Medical certificate for PH candidates.
  9. Any other document as per IBPS verification.
