Jain Entrance Test 2019 Application Form Details

The Applicants has to enter necessary Details in the Application Form such as Application form can be filled in online and offline mode. Specialization and Candidates Personal Details such as Name, DOB, Gender, Program Type (UG/PG), Program Name, Aadhar Number, Blood Group, Nationality etc. Also the Applicant has to upload a Photo, and Marks cards of X, X11, UG and PG (if applicable).

Eligibility Criteria

For UG Course:

  • Candidate should have obtained the minimum cut-off percentage and above at the 12th Board/ 2nd PUC examination/ Equivalent examination recognized by Jain University.
  • The cut-off percentage differs from Program to Program and will be communicated to the candidate during the JET Process.

For PG Course:

  • Candidate should have obtained the minimum cut-off percentage and above in Degree Examination / Equivalent examination recognized by Jain University.
  • The cut-off percentage differs from Program to Program and will be communicated to the candidate during the JET Process.

Application Fee

  • The Application Fee for B.Tech and UG Programmes is Rs 550/-.
  • The Application Fee for PG Programmes – 1050/-
  • Candidate will get an application number once he/she has successfully submit the online application by making an online payment.

Exam Pattern

  • Questions will be of an objective type in JET 2019.
  • The Exam will be conducted through offline and online mode.
  • The Exam will be conducted for 3 hours.
  • The JET 2019 Exam will be conducted in English.
  • Courses which have group discussion and interview round.

For B.Tech:

  • The question paper will consist of four sections: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English.
  • All sections carry 30 marks each.

For UG programs:

  • The exam paper will have four sections: essay writing, subject-based questions, basic Mathematics, and current affairs.
  • Maximum marks allotted: 100

For PG programs:

  • The exam paper will have four sections: essay writing, subject-based questions, basic Mathematics, and current affairs.
  • The first three sections will be of 20 marks each and the last section (current affairs) will be of 40 marks.

For both UG and PG

  • Candidates who qualify the entrance exam are called for the group discussion.
  • Candidates who clear the GD round will be put into the last and final round which is Personal Interview

Admit Card

  • Candidate can visit the official site of Jain University to download the admit card.
  • The Candidates who have Registered and Applied for the Exam can download their Admit Cards.
  • The Applicants will need to enter their E-mail ID and the Respective Password to download the Hall-Tickets.
  • Contents of admit card will be Name, Date of Birth, Roll number, Time slot, PhotoGraph , Exam Center

Result

  • The Candidates who have Successfully Attempted the JET will get to know their Results in the month of April 2019.
  • Candidate can visit the Official Site to download the result.
  • The Candidates has to enter the ID and Password in to Download the Results.

Counselling

  • The dates for Admission Counselling will be Announced by the Jain University, once the JET 2019 Results are Announced.
  • The Applicants has to Carry 10th, 11th, 12th, UG Mark sheets and 2 recent passport and 2 stamp size photographs in formal dress.

  • The Candidates who have Applied for PG Programmes can Expect the Questions from the Topics such as English and from the topics Related to the Course for which the candidate has Applied.
  • The Candidates who have Applied for UG Programmes can Expect the Question from the Topics such as English and from PUC (Intermediate +2) Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
