To offer admission to the eligible candidates into various ‘engineering’ and Management programs, Lovely Professional University (LPU) conducts National Eligibility and Scholarship Test (NEST) for the candidates if they wish to accomplish their management or engineering degree from the lovely University. The university offers the scholarship to the capable and competent aspirants. Candidates are advised to read the official advertisement from the official website before filling the form.

LPU NEST 2019 Application Form

Applicants can fill and submit the application form through both of the methods mentioned viz. offline and online. The LPU NEST 2019 application form will be available offline at the various centers and online on the official website. Before filling the application form, candidates must have to read the instruction carefully. The online application form will be issued from the website.

Eligibility Criteria

For B.Tech:

• The candidate should Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics, and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST/JEE Main.
• For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium.

For Law:

• The candidate should Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (any stream) with English or equivalent, subject to valid score in LPUNEST or CLAT or LSAT.

For MBA:

• The candidate should  Pass with 50% aggregate marks in Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or CAT or XAT or MAT or CMAT and Interview or
• Completed Company Secretary (CS) from Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) or
• Chartered Accountancy (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or
• Cost & Management Accountancy (CMA) from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI)

Application Fee

For Online Mode

• The cost of the application form and Soft copy of LPUNEST Kit is ₹800 (for Boys) and ₹500 (for Girls).
• The application form and Printed LPUNEST Kit is ₹1000 (for Boys) and ₹700 (for Girls).

Note: For online application, the Applicant should have an Online Banking facility through a Net banking/ Debit card/ Credit card.

For Offline Mode

• The applicant may obtain LPUNEST Kit from University Campus or any other prescribed place by paying cash.
• The cost of the Application form and Printed LPUNEST Kit is ₹800 (for Boys) and ₹500 (for Girls).

Exam Pattern

For B.Tech:

• The test duration will be 150 minutes.
• The question paper will be asked in the English language.
• There will be a total of 110 multiple-choice questions.
• There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers or unanswered questions.

Admit Card

• Admit cards will be issued most probably, two or three weeks before the commencement of the exam.
• The admit card will be available on the official website of the university.
• It is important to take Admit Card with you while going to the examination center.
• The candidate will not be allowed to give the exam, without the admit card.

Result

• In the month of May 2019, the result of the exam will be available on the official portal of the university.
• The softcopy will be in the pdf format, so the candidates need to take the printout of the result.

Counseling for LPU NEST 2019

• The last but most crucial part of the whole admission process is counseling.
• All the successful candidates, who get their name in the merit list, will be called for counseling, after the declaration of the result of NEST 2019.
• Successful candidates can take admission into their desired program after counseling is accomplished.

At the time of counseling, the candidates will have to bring the documents given below:

• High school Mark sheet and Passing Certificate
• Intermediate Mark sheet and Passing Certificate
• Caste Certificate
• Character certificate

Syllabus of LPU NEST 2019

• The level of the question paper will be of the intermediate exam.
• The syllabus of the exam will include topics from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology.
