Maharashtra TET 2023: Maharashtra State Council of Examination conducts the Maharashtra Teachers Eligibility Test (MAHA TET) for those candidates who want to make their career in the teaching field. With the help of this entrance test candidate recruitment of candidates in primary and higher primary schools of Maharashtra is done. This exam is organized in 2 parts for two completely different classes of students, one for the class one to five teaching eligibility and the other for six to eight classes. Eligibility Criteria

या परीक्षेमध्य़े किमान ६० टक्के गुण प्राप्त करणा-या उमेदवारास (अनुसूचित जाती, अनुसूचित जमाती, विमुक्त जाती / भटक्या जमाती, विशेष मागासप्रवर्ग, इतर मागासप्रवर्ग आणि अपंग उमेदवारांना ५५ टक्के) उत्तीर्ण समजण्यात येईल.

• Applying aspirant of 18yrs of age & they must be a citizen of India.

For Paper-I

• Students pass the 12^th class with a minimum score of 60%, cleared or appearing in 2yrs of diploma in B.Ed/2yrs diploma in Special Education/4yrs Bachelor of Elementary Education(B.Ed/B.E.I).

For Paper-II

• They must have 60% at the graduation level, Also have passed or appearing in 4yrs of B.Ed, B.EI or cleared or appearing in 2yrs of diploma in Elementary Education or 1yrs of Special Education.
• As per the rules of state government for the candidates of reserved category 5% relaxation shall be provided.

Maharashtra TET 2023 Application Form

To get information about the online application for Maharashtra TET 2023, the candidate must visit the official website of Maharashtra State Council of Examination, www.mahatet.in. Before submitting an application form it is advised to candidates must read all the details. Students use the online process to fill the application form. To create his/her profile on the portal they use a valid email id. Students fill the personal details & education details in the application form.

Application Fee

While candidates submitting the filled application an application charge applies to the candidate. The application fee will be Rs. 500/- for one paper and Rs. 800/- for two papers for General candidates. The application fee will be Rs. 250/- for one paper and Rs. 400/- for two papers for SC / ST / CI candidates.

MAHA TET 2022 Important Note

Exam Pattern

• In the Maharashtra Teachers, the Eligibility Test exam will be multiple-choice questions.
• In this exam, there will be two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2.
• A total of 150 MCQs will be available in the entrance test
• Students solve this exam in 1 ½ hour.
• In offline, mode the Maharashtra TET exam will be conducted.
• In Maharashtra Teachers Eligibility Test Negative Marking will not allow,
• One Mark provides to the students for the right response.

• Mathematics: Geometry, Shapes and Spatial Understanding, Numbers, Arithmetic, Mensuration, Algebra,
• Child Development Pedagogy: Concept of Inclusive Education and Learning Pedagogy, Child development, Understanding children with special needs.
• Language 1: Concept for language development & Comprehension based question and.
• Language 2 (English): Development of language or Comprehension based questions in English.
• Environmental Studies: Habitats, Natural Resources, Solar system, Air, Water, Parts of Body, Food resources, and Care.
