MH CET Law 2023 Application Form, Dates, Eligibility, Exam Pattern

MH CET Law 2023: It is a state common entrance test for getting admission into the law college. The exam conducts for admission to the 3 years LLB & 5 years’ integrated LLB course. It is a state-level program. The exam will be managed by the state common entrance test of Maharashtra. MH CET Law exam is conducted every year for 3 years and 5 years LLB program. The Competent Authority will do the admissions to the following institutes. This exam is approved and recognized by Govt. of Maharashtra. Eligibility criteria

  • Candidate must be an Indian Citizen.
  • The candidate who belongs to the (NRI, PIO, OCI and Foreign National Students) with following Academic Eligibility is not required to appear for CET. They must only apply for CAP rounds.

Candidates who have passed

  • 10th (SSC) & 12th (HSC through Regular Mode/ Distance Mode/ By filling Form-17/NIOS( The National Institute of Open Schooling formerly known as Open School NOS) ) or
  • Equivalent qualifying exam for HSC + 3 Year Graduate Exam & or
  • 2 Year Post Graduate Exam through Regular Mode/ Distance Mode/Correspondence Mode/ Open University/Deemed University/IDOL(Institute of Distance & Open Learning) or
  • The Education Pattern should be 10+2+3 ( SSC+HSC+3 Year Graduate Degree) i.e. 10th +12th + 3 Year Graduation and or 2/3 Year Post Graduation or
  • Three-year graduation degree in any faculty issued by any University recognized by UGC and following a 10+2+3 education pattern is necessary to appear in MAH-LL.B.-3 Year CET 2019 & for admission of three-year law course. Or
  • The qualifications of 10th, 12th (+2) and Graduation may be obtained through any mode (distance/correspondence/ open schooling method). Such candidates are eligible for LLB-3 Year CET 2019 Exam. or
  • The applicant obtained a bachelor’s degree from any Open University with a Preparatory examination without passing HSC and is not eligible for the LLB-3 year CET 2019 Exam & admission of the LLB-3 Year Course.

Age criteria

  • There is no upper age limit to LLB 3 Years program.
  • For the admissions to LLB-3 Yrs. the program will be subject to the Final Outcome of various writ petitions.
  • For Open Category Candidates it will 30 Yrs. age and for SC and ST Category candidates it will 35 Yrs. from the State of Maharashtra only as on 1 July 2019.

MH CET Law 2023: Application form

The exam conducts only in the Online Mode in Multiple Sessions if required, by the competent authority. Using standardized Equi-percentile method, for equating scores across sessions. Candidates must be Register & Confirm the Online Application Form for MH CET Law 2023 at www.dhepune.gov.in and www.mahacet.org. Advised to the candidate’s download and read the detailed guidelines for filling in the online application. Download the Information Brochure and read it carefully. They have a valid E-mail ID and Mobile No., which should be kept active until the completion of this Admission Process. Scan Signature & their recent Photograph as per the required specifications are given on the official website.

Application fee

  • Through Online System Application Form Processing Fees as stated below is to be paid only by Internet Payment, Credit Card/Debit Card [RuPay/ Visa/ Master Card/ Maestro] Payment Gateway for which the service charges are to be paid by the candidate.
  • For Open Category Candidates from Maharashtra State, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), J&K Migrant Candidates: Rs.800/-
  • For Candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only or Candidates of Backward Class Categories [SC, ST, VJ/DT- NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC]: Rs.400/-

Exam pattern

  • Multiple Choice Objective Type Questions will be asked.
  • Total number of marks – 150 Marks
  • Candidates have 2 hours to complete the exam
  • Question Papers will be in English and Marathi language.
