PGIMER Nursing 2022: The entrance exam for PGIMER Nursing is conducted once in a year by the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER). The admission in B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. Nursing (Post Basic) and M.Sc. Nursing courses are provided through this entrance test. The examination will be held through offline mode. Eligibility Criteria
For B.Sc nursing
- Applying candidates should not be more than 25 years & not less than 17 years of age.
- Only female candidates can apply for 4 years of B.Sc Nursing program.
- Candidates must have qualified their 12 class exam or its equivalent with the subjects of biology, chemistry, and physics or English from a recognized board or university.
- The candidates must have scored 50% of marks in the qualifying exam.
For B.Sc Post basic nursing
- Passed the 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from a recognized board or university.
- Candidates must be clear general nursing and midwifery with an aggregate of 50% marks in the qualifying exam.
- The age of the applying candidates should not be more than 45 years of age.
For M.Sc nursing
- Passed in B.Sc. nursing/post basic from a recognized University.
- After registering as a midwife and registered nurse with the State Nursing council candidates must have 1-year work experience.
- Passed in B.SC nursing/post basic with an aggregate of 55% marks in the qualifying exam and eligible candidates must be a registered nurse with the State Nursing council and registered midwife.

PGIMER Nursing 2022 Application Form
Check the eligibility and other criteria before filling the application form. Register by filling name, email ID, mobile number, etc. Fill the required personal and educational details in the application form and upload their photograph and signature in the specified format. Print the application form and payment receipt for further use. Candidates have to pay Rs. 1500/ as application fee if they belong to General/OBC category (PWD are exempted for a fee) and Rs. 1200/ if they belong to SC/ST category. The application fee will be non-refundable. Candidates can pay the application fee through online mode by using debit/credit card to pay the application fee.
Exam Pattern
- The entrance exam will be conducted through CBT mode.
- The Question paper will contain a total of 100 questions.
- Paper will be in the English language.
- Exam of M.Sc nursing will be of 90 minutes of total 100 marks.
- The Questions will be of multiple-choice type.
- For each correct answer, candidates will get a +1 mark and for each wrong answer.
- -0.25 mark will get deducted.

- 25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
