Eligibility Criteria

TS ePass eligibility criteria differ accordingly. But one common thing for everyone is that a candidate must be a permanent resident of Telangana state. Check below to know the eligibility criteria for each scholarship:

Pre-Matric Scholarships For SC/ST/BC/Disabled Welfare
  • Students studying in Class 9th and 10th are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
  • Students’ minimum attendance should be 75%, at the end of each quarter.
  •  Annual Income should be less than Rs. 2 Lakhs.
Post Matric Scholarship (PMS) for SC/ST/BC/Disabled Welfare
  • Students who have cleared Class 10 exams with 75% attendance are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
  • Should have enrolled for Class 11th.
Mahatma Jyothiba Phule BC/EBC Overseas Vidya Nidhi, Telangana
  • Graduated students who want to pursue post-graduation from a university abroad can apply.
  • The maximum age limit of the candidate should be 30 years as of 1st July of the year of application.
  • The annual family income of the candidate  should be Less than INR 1.5 Lakh (for rural areas) and less than INR 2 Lakh (for urban areas)
  • The candidate should be the single child of the family.
  • The minimum percentage of the candidate should be 60% for fields like management, engineering, humanities, social sciences, pure sciences, medicine, nursing, and agriculture science.
Chief Minister’s Overseas Scholarship Scheme for Minorities The scholarship is available for graduate or postgraduate candidates in fields like management, engineering, social sciences, pure sciences, medicine, nursing, agriculture sciences, and humanities.

  • The minimum percentage of the student in the qualifying exam must be 60%.
  • The students must be willing to pursue a postgraduate or doctoral degree abroad in the USA, UK, Australia, Singapore, and Canada.
  • The maximum age limit of the student must be 30 years as of 1 July of the year of application.
  • The family income of the student should be Less than Rs. 2 Lakhs per annum
Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi for SC/ST Students
  • The scholarship is available for graduate or postgraduate students in fields like management, engineering, social sciences, pure sciences, medicine, nursing, agriculture sciences, and humanities.
  • The minimum percentage of the student in the qualifying exam must be 60%.
  • The students must be willing to pursue a postgraduate or doctoral degree abroad in the USA, UK, Australia, Singapore, and Canada.
  •  The maximum age limit of the student must be 35 years as of 1st July of the year of the advertisement.
  • The annual family income of the student should be Less than Rs. Lakh (for SC students) and less than Rs. 2.50 Lakh (for ST students).
