Allahabad University B.Ed 2023: The University of Allahabad is the fourth oldest university in India. Allahabad University B.Ed Admission Notification will be released soon. The University offers a wide range of UG, PG, and doctoral courses. Such courses will be offered in various streams such as arts, science, commerce, law, vocation, and computer application. B.Ed. The course will be for two years (4 Semesters) which can be completed within a maximum period of 3 years. The university also offers professional, certificates as well as diploma courses. Candidates can register through the official website www.allduniv.ac.in. Submit the required application fee to complete the form.

Eligibility Criteria

• A Bachelor’s degree/ master’s degree in Science/ Social Science/ Humanity or in any other equivalent exam from a recognized university as per according to UGC is required to apply.
• Candidates should have at least 55% aggregate in the above qualification.
• Admission to Institutions would be on the seats approved by N. R. C. of N. C. T. E.
• Vacant seats are subject to adjustments due to the non-availability of candidates under unreserved categories and vice–versa.
• Students expelled by the university for two or more years are not eligible.
• Candidates who have marked the reserved category in the admission form and produced a valid document in this regard at the time of admission shall be entitled to admission under the reserved category.

Application Fee

• The application fee will be Rs.1600/- for General /OBC Candidates.
• The fee for SC/ST/PH Candidates will be Rs.800/-.
• Every candidate can view his/her Answer Sheet by paying a token amount of Rs. 100/- at Pravesh Bhawan.

Exam Pattern

• The entrance exam shall have a One Question paper for the 2 hrs duration.
• The question paper shall have two sections.
• The subjects of Section 1 are given below.
• Section Two will have 50 Items on Subject Content Knowledge (any of the Arts, Science or Commerce Streams).
• Each item shall carry 02 marks.
• Total Marks will be 300
• 5 marks shall be deducted for each wrong answer).
• Admission Test shall be held through Online Mode.
• No TA/DA will be given to the candidates.

Allahabad University B.Ed Admission Process

• Maximum seats will be decided on the basis of the availability of teachers.
• The maximum number of seats is approved by the NRC of NCTE
• 50 seats will be maximum for K.P. Training College (Co-ed institution)- For Arts and Science Streams.
• The intake will be 100 for S.S. Khanna Girls Degree College (Female Candidates only)- For Arts, Science, and Commerce Streams.

• Art Stream: History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, Hindi Literature, English literature, and Sanskrit Literature subject.
• Science Stream: Physics, Chemistry, Math’s, Zoology and Botany subjects
• General Knowledge: Indian Social Life, Five Year Plans, Education Policy, Literature, Constitution, Sports, History, Economic Development, Environment, Health, Geography, etc.
• Mental Ability: Logical Ability, Relational Thinking, Symbol Transformation, Abstract Thinking, and Classification Ability, inductive-deductive thinking
