Gujarat TET 2023: The Government of Gujarat is engaged in the activity of conducting the Gujarat Teachers Eligibility Test (GTET). Gujarat TET is generally organized for those candidates who want to make a career in the teaching line at the primary level (class I-V) or in upper primary (VI-VIII) schools in the state of Gujarat. Ojas Guj TET notification will be released by the Department of School Education. TET is a mandatory examination for all the B.Ed. qualified candidates to be considered for teacher jobs in schools affiliated by the government and private management. The mode of applying for Gujarat TET 2023 would be the online mode.

Eligibility Criteria

Primary Teachers level (I-V):

• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) is necessary with an aggregate of 45 percent marks.
• Appearing candidates in the final 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)/2-year Diploma in Elementary Education / 2 – year Diploma in Education in Special Education were also eligible. OR
• Candidates with B.Sc. /BA / with a score of 50 percent marks and B.Ed qualified candidates were also eligible to apply for it.
• Age should not be less than 18ys.

Upper Primary Teachers level (VI-VIII):

• For Paper II 2023 applicants having B.Sc/ B.A. or those appearing in final 2-year B.A. / D.Ed. /B.Sc. with at least 45 percent marks or cleared/ appearing in B.Ed / Senior Secondary with a score of  50% marks and passed or appearing in 4-year BA/ B.Sc.Ed. OR
• A. (Ed.)/ final 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) / B.Ed B.Sc. (Ed.), (Special Education) with an aggregate of 50% in B.SC or B.A were eligible for GTET.
• Age should not be less than 18ys.

Gujarat TET 2023 Application Form

GTET Application Form will be issued only to the eligible candidates on the official site. It is the responsibility of the Gujarat School Examination Board to release the Application form. The mode of applying for GTET would be via online mode. GTET Application Form will be available in the month of May-June as tentatively. Exam centers will be allotted to the applicants. Applicants were suggested to fill the GTET Application form 2023 before due dates because the authority will not accept any form after due dates.

• Printing of Application Form

Steps to fill the Gujarat TET 2023

• Assess the official site i.e. on “ojas.guj.nic.in“
• Search for Gujarat Teacher’s Eligibility Test Online Application Form.
• Choose the paper TET 1 (Primary Teacher) OR TET 2 (Secondary Teacher)
• Hit on in and submit the details like name, father’s name, DOB, etc.
• Remit payment of the application fee.
• Review your form before the final submission.
• Take the printout of the application form for future reference.

Application Fee

• For General/OBC candidates: Application fee amounts to INR 350.
• For SC/ST candidates: Application fee amounts to INR 250

Exam Pattern

• GTET involves two papers, Paper-I for Primary Teachers level and Paper-II for Upper Primary Teachers Level.
• The duration of the examination will be 90minutes.
• The number of questions would be 150 which carries 150 marks.
• There will be two shifts morning and evening.

Gujarat TET 2023 Admit Card

Candidates who are seeking the GTET Hall Ticket can assess the official site and download it by entering login credentials. Admit card of GTET will be issued prior to 15days of the examination. Candidates who had successfully registered will only be issued the GTET Admit card 2023. Admit card is the mandatory document that is necessary during the examination otherwise the invigilator will not allow the candidate to appear for the examination. In case of any discrepancies in UPTET Admit card 2023, the candidate has a right to contact the concerned authority. Read the instruction carefully in the Admit Card.

Steps to download Gujarat TET Admit Card

• Visit the official portal i.e. on ojas.gujarat.gov.in
• Search for the link of GTET Admit Card 2023 in the notification section.
• Enter the required details and submit it.
• After submitting the details, Admit Card will display on the screen.
• Check all the details & instructions on the admit card
• Save and download it.
• Take the hard copy of it and keep it safe for future reference.

Contents of the Admit Card

the admit card will be having the content like Name of the candidate, Date of Birth, Roll no., Date & time, venue of the examination, Instructions to be followed during the examination.

Mathematics: Number System, Geometry, Mensuration, Simplification, Algebra, Pedagogical issues related question, Arithematics (Profit & Loss, Time & Distance, Ratio, Time & Work, Percentage, Average, etc)

Social Studies: Information Technology, Economics, History, Geography, Social & Political life, Social Studies Pedagogy

Environmental Studies: Water, Travel, Things We Make and Do, Family and Friends, Food, Shelter, Related to Subjects: Pedagogical Issues
