Bihar Elementary TET 2018 well known as Bihar Elementary Teachers Eligibility Test is organized every year by State Council of Education Research & Training & by Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) in order to recruit teachers. Eligibility
Bihar Elementary TET 2018: Educational Qualification:
Age Limit:
- Male candidate’s age should not be more than 38 years as on 01.01.2017.
- Age relaxation will depends as per government policies or rules.
For Teacher I-V Classes (Paper-I):
- Interested candidates must be passed Intermediate class or its equivalent with minimum 45% marks.
- Appearing in Final Four year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.ED)/2 year diploma in Elementary Education/2 year Diploma in Education in Special Education are also eligible to appear in Bihar TET.
- Candidates with B.SC/ BA/ Degree with the score of 50% marks and B.ED qualification candidates are also eligible.
For Teacher VI -VIII Classes (Paper-II):
- Candidates with B.SC /BA/ Degree and aspirants who are appearing in 2 final year in B.SC/ D.ED/BA/ course with the aggregate of 45% marks and passed/appearing in Senior Secondary /B.ED with the minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in final four year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.ED) / 4 year BA/B.SC , B.ED or BA (ED)/BSC.(ED)/B.ED (Special Education) with the score of 50% marks in B.Sc /BA or are eligible for Bihar TET.
Bihar Elementary TET 2018: Application form
Mode of applying for Bihar Elementary TET 2018 is online mode from the official site. Bihar TET 2017 Online Application Form Starting in the month of July 2018 till August, 2018. Eligible and interested candidates can apply and fill up the online application form and submit it on the official website. Candidates are suggested to read the brochure carefully and specially cross check the eligibility criteria. Review your form prior submission.
Steps to download Bihar Elementary TET 2018
Online registration:
- Candidates have to register themselves on the official site of BTET through online mode.
- Choose and fill the paper.
- Keep your scanned documents and images which would be necessary required during application procedure.
Upload Scanned images:
- Upload latest passport size scanned photograph on the specified space.
- Images should be less than 1MB.
Remit Payment
- Make payment through offline or online mode.
- In online mode click on ‘Pay Participating Fee’ to deposit fee via online mode. The mode of payment via online would be via DR/CR card.
- Through offline mode, applicants can remit payment by using SBI e-voice.
- In this offline process you need to take the e- challan from the web and which will b in two forms on a paper.
- One page is to be deposit to the bank and one should be kept by the candidate.

Application fee
For General/OBS/BC:
- Paper-I amounts to Rs-400/-
- Paper-II amounts to Rs-400/-
- Candidates applying for both the papers its amounts to Rs-600/-
For SC/ST/PwD:
- Paper-I amounts to Rs-200/-
- Paper-II amounts to Rs-200/-
- For both papers it amounts to Rs-300/-
Admit Card
Admit card will be issued prior 15days of the examination on the official site i.e in the month of June, 2018.Candidates have to download it by entering their login credentials. Admit card is the mandatory document which have to be carried along on the date of the examination. The examiner will only permit the candidate in the examination hall when the cross checking of the admit card will be done.
Admit card contains details regarding the candidate – Name of the candidate, Date of Birth, Roll no. , Date & time ,Venue of the examination, Instructions to be followed during the examination etc.
Steps to download BTET Admit Card 2018
- Assess the official site i.e. on www.bihartet.co.in
- Search for the link of Bihar TET Admit Card, in the front page and clisck on it.
- Fill up with all of the mandatory information requisite for the verification
- Click on the submit button
- Admit card will be generated and appeared on the screen after few seconds.
- Save and download it
- Take the print out of it and don’t forget it to bring on the examination date.
