Rajasthan TET 2018 Important Dates, Eligibility Criteria

Rajasthan TET 2018 will be released soon. Rajasthan Teachers Eligibility Test (RTET) 2018 is conducted by Government of Rajasthan also to be well-known as Rajasthan TET. This TET is generally conducted for the candidates wishing to become teachers in primary (class I -V) and upper primary (VI-VIII) schools in Rajasthan state. Notification regarding RTET 2018 will be released by the Department of School Education, Rajasthan OR concerned examination authority as managed by the Government of Rajasthan. TET is called as the mandatory examination for all the B.Ed. qualified candidates to be considered for teacher jobs in schools managed by the government and private managements. Eligibility Criteria

  • Must cleared Intermediate standard from recognized board with the minimum of 45%.
  • Applicants should hold a Diploma in Teacher Education from any recognized Teacher Training Institute.
  • Any Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is required with the minimum of 50%.
  • Applicants whose result are awaited for B.Ed examination can also apply for it.

Rajasthan TET 2018 (RTET) Qualification Teachers of Classes I-V (Paper I)

  • Candidates should have cleared in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with the minimum score of 45% marks.
  • Appearing candidates pursuing in final 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education /  2 – year Diploma in Education in Special Education/4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) are also eligible. OR
  • Candidates with B.Sc. /BA with at least 50 % marks and B.Ed degree candidates  can also apply.

Rajasthan TET 2018 (RTET) Qualification Teachers of Classes VI-VIII (Paper II)

  • Applicants having B.Sc /B.A. and appearing candidates in final 2 year B.A. /D.Ed. /B.Sc. with the aggregate of  45% marks and cleared.
  • Appearing in Senior Secondary/ B.Ed /  with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 4-year BA/ B.Sc.Ed. OR
  • A. (Ed.)/B.Sc. (Ed.) final 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) / B.Ed. (Special Education) with 50 percent in BA or B.Sc are eligible for RTET.

Rajasthan TET 2018: Application Form

It is the responsibility of the Rajasthan School Examination Board to release the Application form. Application form can be only filled up by the eligible candidates. Application form of RTET 2018 will be released in the last week of August, 2018.

Steps to download Rajasthan TET 2018

  • Visit the official website i.e. on examrtet.rajasthan.gov.in or rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in
  • Search for the link of Registration form
  • Update some basic information
  • Once registration process gets completed, login ID will be generated to the candidate.
  • With that USER ID & PASSWORD re-access the website and fill the RTET Application form 2018.
  • Recent passport size photograph & signature is required while filling the application form, and scanned images to.
  • One the application process gets completed hit on challan and take the hard copy of it.
  • Remit payment through e-challan
  • After making payment, candidates need to update the transaction details like the transaction ID & Deposit amount.
  • Save and submit it.
  • Download the Confirmation page, and submit it to the District Education Officer.
  • Only Successful submission of the application form by the candidate, will be issued the Admit Card.

Application fee

  • Application fee amounts to Rs-500/- for Paper-I and if applying for both the papers it amounts to Rs-800/-.
  • For ST/SC its Rs- 250/- for Paper-I and if applying for both then its Rs-400/-

Admit Card

  • Mandatory document carried along on the date of the examination.
  • RTET Admit Card 2018 will be issued prior 15days of the examination.
  • Admit card will be available in the month of November, 2018.
  • Candidates have to click on the right side of the link of Admit Card and enter the registration no.
  • Read the instruction carefully in the RTET Admit Card 2018.
  • Admit card contains details regarding the candidate – Name of the candidate, Date of Birth, Roll no. , Date & time ,Venue of the examination, Instructions to be followed during the examination etc.

Steps to download the RTET Admit Card 2018

  • Visit the official portal i.e. on www.examrtet.rajasthan.gov.in.
  • Search for the tab of Admit card and click on it.
  • Enter the application no& DOB.
  • Click on Submit button.
  • RTET Admit Card 2018 will displayed on the screen
  • Download it and take the print out of that.
  • Don’t forget to get the admit card on the examination date.

Exam Pattern

  • Both the papers constitute of 150 MCQ questions (each separately).
  • Duration of the paper would be 90minutes.’
  • There will be four alternative answers in which you have to choose one out of four
  • There will be no negative marking

  • By clicking on the link of result and by entering the roll no. result will be displayed in the screen.
