ICAR AIEEA 2023: A national level entrance exam called ICAR AIEEA is conducted once a year, organized by NTA (National Testing Agency). AIEEA stands for the All India Entrance Examination for Admission. The admission will be offered by the various agricultural universities in bachelor degree courses and master’s degree courses. There is no direct admission in any Bachelor or Master degree programme without qualifying in this examination. ICAR AIEEA 2023 Application Form

The online application form has been started from the 1st week of April 2023. The application form of ICAR AIEEA 2023 can be filled and submitted through online mode only. Candidates can fill the online application form till the last week of April 2023. The details mentioned cannot be changed further, once the application form is sent. Printout of the confirmation page should be sent along with the proof of fee payment to the official address.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidate should be an Indian national citizen.
  • Aadhaar card is mandatory except for Jammu & Kashmir, Assam and Meghalaya state candidates.
  • Candidates can also enter the 16 digit number given on the enrollment slip.

For UG Courses (Except Veterinary Sciences Courses):

  • The minimum age will be 16 years as of 31st August 2023.
  • Passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board is required to apply for ICAR AIEEA 2023.
  • The above examination should be passed with PCM/PCB/PCMB/PCF subject combinations.
  • General/OBC/UPS category candidates have to obtain 50% marks in the qualifying exam and 40% for SC/ST/PC category candidates.
  • Appearing candidates can also be eligible to apply but, they have to produce proof of qualifying for the examination.

For PG Courses:

  • The maximum age should be 19 years as of 31st August 2023.
  • The candidate should not have been born after 1st September 2000.
  • A bachelor’s degree in any respective field under the pattern of 10+2+5 (B.V. Sc. and A.H.), 10+2+4 and 10+6 with 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PC categories) is required to apply for ICAR AIEEA 2023.
  • Those who passed the bachelor’s degree in the pattern of 10+2+3 can apply for IARI Pusa and NDRI Karnal.
  • Final year candidates can also apply.

  • Applicants can submit the application through a credit card/debit card by using the net banking of Canara Bank.

Exam Pattern

For UG Courses:

  • The mode of the exam will be LAN based CBT.
  • The duration of the exam will be 150 minutes.
  • 60 questions will be asked from each subject.
  • For visually challenged or blind candidates, an extra 50 minutes will be provided.
  • The question paper will be bilingual, i.e., English and Hindi.
  • The question paper will be of multiple-choice questions.
  • For each correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded.
  • There will be a negative marking of 1 mark.

For PG Courses:

  • The mode of the exam will be LAN based CBT.
  • The duration of the exam will be 150 minutes.
  • There will be a total of 160 questions from each subject.
  • The questions will be Multiple Choice Objective Type Questions.
  • Questions will be in English language only.
  • The duration of the exam will be two and a half hours.
  • Each correct answer will be of 4 marks.
  • There will be -1 mark for each incorrect answer from the total score.

For AICE JRF/SRF

  • The exam will be a LAN Based CBT (Computer Based Test).
  • The duration of the exam will be 3hours.
  • There will be 200 questions.
  • Each question will be of 4 marks.
  • The Medium of Paper will be English only

Admit Card

There will be an e-admit card to download. The authority will upload the e-admit card on the NTA website during the specified period. Candidates can access the admit card by entering the application number and date of birth. Candidates should self-attest the copy of the admit card otherwise no candidate can appear in the examination.

Result

The result for both UG and PG courses will be available in the first week of June through online mode. By using their login account details, candidates can view the result. The authority will also prepare a subject-wise merit list on the basis of the result. The result will be available in the terms of merit rank secured by the candidate.

Counselling

  • The mode of the counselling will be an online process.
  • It is mandatory to register on the ICAR website for admission followed by counselling process.
  • The candidates called for the counselling, based on the overall merit rank.
  • To participate in the counselling, the candidates have to download their call letters.
  • On the basis of choice opted by the qualified candidate and availability of seats, the seats in various agriculture colleges will be allotted.

ICAR AIEEA 2023: Important Points

  • One applicant can send only one application form.
  • Multiple application forms will face rejection or cancellation.
  • There is no reservation of ICAR- PG Scholarship for candidates of OBC (NCL) and UPS category.
  • There is no maximum age limit to apply for both degree courses.
  • Candidates cannot get the admit cards by post.
