IIT Bombay MTech Admissions 2017-18

MTech Applications form will be available from March 2017 (Tentative). After official notice of IIT Bombay MTech admissions 2017-18, all the candidates may apply for the same. The admissions for IIT Bombay MTech 2017 will be completed after results declaration of GATE. Hence the appearing applicants should have valid score card of GATE to apply for MTech at IIT Bombay .

IIT Bombay MTech Notification 2017

Admission notification for IIT Bombay M.Tech 2017 will be released most probably in February 2017. The application forms will be available from March 2017. The interested applicants can then apply before last date of application. The deserving applicants will be selected to get admissions in MTech courses at IIT Bombay 2017.

Eligibility criteria

  • BE/ B.Sc (eng.)/ B.Tech/ M.Sc/ MCA/ MBBS/ M.Pharm (4 years)/ BDS (4 years) scoring minimum 60% (55% for reserved categories).

                                     OR

  • Associate membership examinations equivalent to B.E/ B.Tech degree conducted by equivalent professional bodies (such as Institution of eng. India, Institute of Chemical Eng., Aeronautical society of India, Institute of electronics & telecommunication eng., Indian Institute of Metals etc.)

                                    OR

  • The applicants having degree from a foreign universities will have to submit correspondence certificate from Associated of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi for qualifying examination & evidence of scoring 60% (55% for reserved categories) OR correspondence in qualifying exam.

                                OR

  • The applicants have to qualify the equivalent GATE paper as prescribed. 

Application fee for IIT Bombay MTech 2017

  • For General applicants- Rs. 300/-
  • For SC/ST/Female applicants- Rs. 150/- 

Important dates (Tentative)

  • Commencement of applications- March 2017
  • Last date of applications- April 2017
  • Date of personal interview- May 2017
