IIT Kanpur MTech Admissions 2019
IIT Kanpur invites Applications from interested and eligible applicants for admission in MTech programmes. The application forms will be available from March 2019. The applicants are advised to check the eligibility criteria before they start with the application procedure.
IIT Kanpur offers MTech under the following Departments

- Biological science & Bio-eng.

- Earth sciences
- Nuclear Eng. & technology
- Material science
- Mechanical Eng.
- Material science & Eng.

- Industrial & mgmt. eng.
- Environmental Eng. & Mgmt.
The applicants who have a valid score card of GATE must ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility criteria to apply for IIT Kanpur MTech Admissions 2019. The application procedure will start from the month of March 2019. The applicants are advised apply before the last date of application.
Eligibility Criteria
- For Tech. eng. the applicants must have qualified B.Tech/ BE/ M.Sc (eng.) in the respective field.
- For Tech. in Biological science & Bio-eng. the applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy/ Medicine with marks/ CPI will also be taken into consideration.
- For Tech. (eng. Geosciences) the applicants must have qualified M.Sc in Earth science OR allied streams of B.Tech/ BE degree in civil/ Geosciences eng. with a valid scorecard.
- The applicants having MBBS degree or Eng. graduates from IITs scoring minimum 8.0 CPI will be exempted from GATE.
